Exterior Exterior is brilliant from the front. Looks like a sporty car but the rear look should have been better. Headlights look great. the aerodynamic windshield gives a class look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Now this, is what you get surprised about. When i got into the car , i was surprised to see that this small car is so spacious from inside. great leg room , good interiors - dual tone interiors make it look good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good. the gearbox is not so smooth. Im good with the fuel economy with 20kpl.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality should have been better. the car vibrates too much on acceleration under 10kmph. Ride quality is not smooth as expected.
Final Words Overall its a good city car. value for money car for this segment.
Areas of improvement gearbox should be smoother.ride quality should be better but cant expect much from this segment.

Exterior
Celerio looks good specially from the front. The front grille has given this car a lot of character, probably the best part of celerio exterior. Looks tall and comfortable. Overall it is not a car which will be a head turner but will easily gel in. Post fitting of accessories like mud flaps and bumper guards Celerio really looks an upmarket product.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
One can be easily surprised with the kind of space Celerio has inside. Getting in and out of the car is very comfortable. Maruti has thrown in some convinient storage spaces inside for your tits and bits as well. The plastic could have been a little better in quality but you won't complain considering the price. The features are something you would expect from a car in this segment. The only thing which is missing probably is the music system in VXI model. They even don't have fitted wires for installing the speakers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Basically, Celerio is made for someone who is stuck in bumper to bumper traffic in a city. Don't expect a lot of power in the engine. It's all comfort. It may however, surprise you once in a while when you challenge it by pressing against the throttle. But the real USP of Celerio is its comfortable ride and the Auto gearbox which is very responsive and quite predictable. One just needs to get used to the car and the car needs to get used to the driver. As far as the fuel economy is concerned, the new car is giving around 14 kmpl, but i have been told by the dealer that it would increase after the first service.
Ride Quality & Handling
Very nice. I was able to whiz pass some of the vehicles in the traffic with ease. the pick-up is good. The only drawback which I can think of is managing to reverse the car which I feel will take a little time for Celerio owners to get used to, since the car starts moving the moment you remove your foot from the break.
Final Words
Overall a great car which will definitely spoil you. You may not want to drive a manual geared car after you have driven Celerio. I bought this car for my wife, but haven't handed over to her yet :)
Areas of improvement
ZXi should have Auto gearshift as well. Maruti could have atleast given stearing controls in LXi which would work after the owners install a stereo

I felt the styling to be attractive and better in aero-dynamics compared to Wagon-R.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Roomy and spacious interior, much better when compared to most cars in the mid-segment though at a much competitive cost. Comfortable seats even for the rear seat passengers giving excellent leg room and no arm nudging around!😊 The ride is very comfortable and is a pleasurable experience.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
I have driven the Celerio Vxi CNG for 2500+ kms during the last 2 months and been very satisfied so far. The engine is very silent and gives good pickup even on the CNG and with AC on. Gear shifting is no pain at all and very soft to the drivers arm. The new K10B engine is certainly a winner.
What I have liked is the fuel economy which has been around 20 - 25 km / kg of CNG in Mumbai traffic, this is while the drive being partly on highway and partly in city traffic and having the AC almost always on. Surely it is a good bet and I have saved a good amount compared to my petrol car earlier.
Ride Quality & Handling
The ride is very smooth and noise-free. The shock abs are pretty good and handle the road bumps nicely. Gear box is also very smooth. The car is extremely steady at speeds of about 100-120, not wobbly at all and had good braking stability, it's broader tyres to count on. In all a great driving pleasure and long drives are a breeze.

An excellent choice for the mid-segment and price and fuel economy concious class.
Areas of improvement
Would have been a greater appeal if Maruti Suzuki adds some more attractive vibrant colours to choose from instead of the standard colours specially considering the young buyer in mind.
The exterior paint quality can be better.

Exterior: Excellent Looks, I got the silver coloured one. Feels and looks awesome.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): All good, frequent drives with and without family (5 persons in the car), excellent rear seat comfort, foldable rear seat, nice upholstery.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: If you know how to 'intellectually' drive it, fuel economy is quite good at 21 km/l on highways and about 18.5 km/l in the city. Smooth gear shifting, manual transmission version recommended. (Mine is also manual, and better control than AMT). You can comfortably cruise in a crowded city as well as capable of reaching 150 kmh+ on a racetrack. Acceleration is quick owing to it's lighter weight.
Ride Quality & Handling: Superior! You can feel the ABS kick in at high speed braking. Safety rating is also not bad at 3/5.
Final Words: A truly recommended must-buy efficient, smooth vehicle capable of even tough roads. Bluetooth feature for calling is super-awesome!
Areas of improvement: No boot lighting! Also rear design could do with a few visual improvements. Rear Wiper may need a bit of adjusting to curb noise depending on weather.

I had purchased the celerio VXI on 20/03/14 and driven this car about 2000 Km, it is not worth for the price, the outer body (front & back) are made of plastic, very cheap quality and absolutely not safe.
The clutch arrangement is not good, the diamiter of the brake drum is very small for the body size,also the disc brake dia in the maruti advertisement it shows 23km/L, but in the city limit it gives only 11km/L.
The MAPMYINDIA system is fitted by maruti BIMAL Bangalore dealer, the blutooth mic is never works even after many complaints made, the dealer is not having qualified engineer for this system is maruti duing any R&D OR any survey about this celerio car perfomance on road condition?
This celerio car cannot be compared with 2003 maruti 800 because I used for the past 8 Years, In this car whether the electronic clutch are used OR if not, can it be fixed for additional cost.

Exterior I started facing some serious problem with my Maruthi Suzuki Celerio ZXI since last 3 months and really frustrated any annoyed with it, presume most of us (celerio zxi customers) are also facing the similar problem. This really makes me think about the vehicle durability & reliability on a long run. Below is my problem description.
I have written a mail to Maruthi Suzuki head office and expecting a response from their authorities on what assurance & confidence that they are going to give their customers on the vehicles durability and reliability?
If the response is not convincing I would request all the Celerio owners to highlight this so that we can form a group and file a consumer case with the Manufacturer for selling an unreliable & problematic vehicle and causing inconvenience to the customers. My email id is.
Main my problem is before my 1st servicing I used to get 20kmpl in city condition and 23kmpl in Highway as per your AVG meter showed. After servicing the worst AVG is 13kmpl in Varun servicing station (begumpet). I strangly Beleave they are changing engine inner parts .so I request to my vehicle replacement or return my money.if ur people not respond my mail Iam going to Consumer form.

Dear sir,
I have purchased the car due to reputation of Maruti. I already have a swift car since last 4 year. After buying the same I have realized that i have made 100% mistake. Since one year it have been a nightmare for me. I have sent the car at least 5 timesat service station but it have been declared ok on service point of view, I have talked with Mr Siddharth rathi also but they say that Maruti is right and its ok. Their is heavy Ac compressure noise while car isrunning or not running. Their is so much noise inside the cabin when speed reaches above 50 that it becomes unbearable. Dhruv automobiles supported me all the way by giving free demo of new car but in each car the same problem exits. It is not the mistake of service station but it is engineering design fault. At the name of new technology you cannot introduce such worst features. We have pain because we have spent money to buy the car. If in new car same noise problem exits then it cannot be said that everything is right. Even nano do not have such problems.
Hope that company will look into the matter and will refund our money because byke is better than this car!

This is a 2-day review of my just bought Maruti Celerio - Lxi - MT. Please consider this while reading my review.
Exterior The car is quite good looking in my view. It has elements from Swift and looks sturdy and confident on the road. When you are looking for value for money, looks is a secondary option.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable for family of 4. We are quite tall and well built but find the car very comfortable for 4 of us.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine feels smooth although the car seems to vibrate a bit when idle in neutral.. needs some revving to stop the vibrating. Gearbox is smooth and car accelerates very fast. Fuel economy seems promising. the indicator for Navi Mumbai traffic is currently showing avergae of 14km/l.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good.
Final Words Value for money option for any middle class family. I preferreed MT over AMT as AMT felt a bit too jerky. Maruti genuine accessories are quite reasonable priced and feel afordable.
Areas of improvement Remote boot release is all that comes to mind now.

Very confirtable for long drive for 5 medium sized people. i have driven it for 1000Km in single turn and found it very comfortable

Engine performance found good in last six months, Got mileage of 17km/ltr in city with ac and w/o AC adn on highway 19 with AC/W/o AC
As per as gearbox is concerned less power on 4th gear; you can feel it on highway you have to shift on 3rd and 2nd for overtaking .

Ride quality is awesome, gets better viewfrom driving seat(I am 5'7")
about handeling i have not faced any problems in last six months

I purchased my Celerio Zxi(o) in october 2014 and completed 5000 kms in february 2015 and 1st free service done in November,2nd in february 2015.Outside looks are good,especially front with good headlamps,foglamps,chrome grills.Front windsheild is very wide and roadview is good but A pillers are preventing roadview during cornering.Wide doors and windows are very helpfull.Remote doorlocks are very helpfull.
Interior is attractive with duel tone fittings.Front legroom is more than adaquate,backseaters also get more legroom. Widewindows are looks great with adaquate light coming inside. Dashboard is nice looking with digital look for fuel level,average mileage,distance to empty,present kmpl, odometre,trip metre etc.Tachometre shows RPM but temperature guage is absent.Auto lock after 15kmph. A/C is powerful.Pickup is good except in 2nd gear.Dble Din music system with BT, CD, Media, FM. Mobile charger,USB port.With window closed,engine sound is not heard,no vibration in idling. With blower speed in number 2 outof 4,we feel very cold wit A/C.Music system performance is good. Hands free phone connection,Steering mounted controls for these. Bottle holders in doors,near gear shifter.Driver seat hight adjustable.This varient comes with ABS,Duel Airbags,Alloy wheels,Foglamps,Backwindow wiper and defogger.ORVMs are electrically, internally adjustable. Tilting Steering wheel is very light,smooth.Internal facility is very good.
Engine is K10B is very smooth and silent,pickup is great,gearbox is good except 2nd gear which somewhat not so good.During my first 5000 kms I covered 80% in NH and rest are in SH. With continuous A/C on, I got average mileage of 21.5 to 22kmpl,that too with speed not below 80-90kmph. With A/C on and blower speed in 2,with music,we hear talking in normal voice since A/C is also silent. Inside RV mirror/ORVM are day and night so no problem in night driving. I changed headlight bulbs into Extra vision for better illumination.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is smooth, we will not experience potwholes of medium size. 3 members can sit comfortably in backseat.Handling is quite easy/good. Steering is sensitive,quick responsive. Breaking is done with confidence thanks to ABS, Suspension is adaquate. But Maruti showed stingyness in giving ordinery stephiney wheel while all four wheels are alloy.
Final Words This Celerio is my 3rd vehicle from Maruti and I am happy to drive it with all facilities loaded in it. I recommend to car buyers to try celerio Zxi(o) which is equal to C segment cars and its best mileage is a plus point.Most interior parts are similar to Swift but I think there is more space in Celerio than Swift.Boot is 240 ltrs in Celerio.
Areas of improvement Backside shape to be changed,2nd gear performence to be improved.
