Exterior Good at style with chrome grill at the front.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good at cabin space. Boot space is too good. Seats are comfortable although I feel the quality of material could be made better.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Super smooth engine. Fuel economy is about 10-12 KMPL for new car and suppose to increase after 2nd or 3rd service.
Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable ride quality and handling is also cost effective.
Final Words Probably the best car at this budget. Maruti gives a very good service assurance and even after the service I have received multiple calls asking for my comments which I feel is very important as far as customer satisfaction is concerned.
Areas of improvement
1) Build quality is very cheap and that common for most of the Maruti Suzuki Vehicles. Maruti should seriously give a thought on this.
2) Music system is not provided for Vxi option although it is there in WagonR/K10 Vxi.

Exterior - Exteriors are fine and good looking. I always prefer Silky Silver as the choice of color. It really eases the cleaning and polishing work to a great extent. Attractive Head Lamps and very good styling and design. Rear side has above average looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - Dashboard is good. Distance to Empty, Average Fuel Consumption, etc are good feature additions. These were not available in previous ALTO LXi. Seats are really comfortable. Better to go for a premium seat cover immediately after purchase. Enough leg room available for driver and co-driver. Rear seat passengers can also be seated comfortably . Overall a good space management technique handled by Suzuki. Rear-Boot volume is adequate.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - Automatic transmission sometimes makes you feel low on pick-up. In due course, it gets adjusted as you drive. Engine is super smooth. The automatic version also enables you to do the gear shifting manually. A wonderful feature. Just a little learning and then you get set off with everything... Fuel economy is good. But only 15 kmpl within city drive.
Ride Quality & Handling - Ride quality is very smooth. A very sensitive accelerator. It is designed with much precision in the Automatic version. Really good to handle. Can be better if traction control is present to an extent.
Final Words - I would suggest the buyer to go for this car. It is hassle free and low end maintenance. Any Suzuki engine is durable and offers you the same ride experience up to 1 Lakh KMs (provided the car is maintained as per company standards). If the buyer is preferring to self-maintenance, then I would always suggest him/her to get Maruti GA (Genuine Accessories). For clutch plate replacement and other important mechanical works, I would always suggest these be done at authorized service centers...
Areas of improvement - Little more accessories and additional features can be granted for the VXi model.

I took test drive of around 11-12 cars before finalizing Celerio.
It matched all the requirements I had.
Not too expensive, ample space for family of four, maruti's good service, peace of mind.
Exterior: Looks stylish yet simple. I have white color, it's a beauty if maintained well.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Apart from it's shock-ups, rest is really nice. But then I remmeber when I swithced from Tata Nano to Celerio, I loved it's shock-ups, Now, I somehow don't as my expectations have increased from a vehicle. Apart from that, AC cooling is average, noise is minimum, seats are comfortable, has all required features without extra add-ons.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Performance is simply great. Do not expect it to run like swift or ritz or pulse diesel, but for a family car and not a sport vehicle, the performance is above average.
I used to get 17kmpl before first two services, after that it's maximum 13 on highways. Unacceptable ofcourse. But practically there is nothing anyone can do about it. Service center will just show fake concern and put blame on your driving etc etc. I anyway don't know of any petrol vehicle giving above 20 mileage than Tata Nano, so I guess I'll have to live with it.
Gearbox is smooth, nicely placed, no problems here.
Ride Quality & Handling: Again, the only issue is shock-ups. Otherwise all well. Please note that the shock-ups are same in other vehicles too, unless you go for a high end car like audi or merc. So, don't change your mind based on shock-up part.
Final Words: I like the car overall. Not just because I have purchased it and I want to talk good about it. But honestly, after taking 12 cars for test drive, there must be something I found worth in going for this one.
Areas of improvement: Its useless writing this section because if the companies cared enough, the basic things like mileage and shock-ups would be much better long ago. Probaly it's not feasible for companies to improve these two things anyway.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Just I Bought a Celerio Vxi (Optional )ABS Manual. engine Performance is very good and I am getting Mileage of 19.5 With A/c. Boot Space is Very good, Its Engine is Noiseless Sweet sound and smooth Speed 80/ 120 .Gear Box location also Good and comfortable and Some time Problem in 5th gear , Steering Type of Power assisted Electric is very Nice Best Manual car in Economy.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is Very Good and easy handling.
Final Words Good Economic Car, Nice driving control, great space and overall.
Areas of improvement Rear design can be improved. Few more accessories can be provided with the car in the Vxi OPt ABS. All Doors is Provide the Cup Holder.

Exterior Exterior styling is just about good, they wont stand a chance in any beauty contest for sure! the fits and fixtures like the bumper both front and rear are just a piece of plastic. I dont think will withstand any impact. So pls drive carefully!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The car looked smaller than Tiago or rather it is smaller than Tiago but when I stepped in,I realised the kind of space that designers of this vehicle have created. Its just right for the Indian Customers. I finally had to fall for this Japanese design!! Other features like dual tone dash, the meter console, the information system is quite good. The rear seats could have been designed a little better. That is just a bench type. Again the boot space for that kind of vehicle is quite good.
Note The designs of LXI and VXI is probably different. I bought the LXI version and later on wanted to fit a central lock, the dealer refused to install saying the door design of lxi is different hence the lock cannot be put in.
If you are planning to buy a gear lock, go for the U shaped lock from Guardian (Autocop). The Pin type is not recomended.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Silent engine, cannot comment on the fue economy though. It is probably not more than 12kmpl at the moment given that I usually have to drive through heavy traffic with AC on. Dint get much of a chance to drive in 5th gear yet :(

Final Words I fell for this vehicle after doing much comparison with many other brands and model specially the Tiago. If you are looking for a petrol vehicle, I will recommend Celerio. For diesel you should be looking at Tiago. Also Celerio looks much more functional when you keep your family in mind, optimum boot space, rear leg space, front space, most of all, its not boxy :P The weight in comparison to Wagon R is also quite less which will probably make the power to weight ratio a little better.
Areas of improvement The black handle at the back to open the hatch looks irritating. It should be right under the front seat with the petrol tank open lever or atleast somewhat like Hyundai where you have to pull the logo to open the hatch.

Exterior Overall it has prominent curves and looks good . Front side looks elegant with 2 chrome strips. Rear view is not that appealing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good leg space, Overhead space . Upholstery quite comfortable. Stroage of 5 bottles.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox AMT is fabulous and I really loved it for hassle free driving on state highways and village roads. Good mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling I took the delivery on 28th June and till this date I have cruised 950 km ! Soon ready for 1st service.
Final Words I was looking for a compact sub 4 M Automatic car with all features like Power stearing, AMT, ABS, Steering Audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity, Decent Stereo player, FM Radio, Parking Rear Sensors etc... It is provided Manual over ride for enthusiastic Highway Motorists, As an OCI, NRI retiree with only spouse to zoom around in India during our intermittent short Home vacations and easy for city traffic and easy parking space, I chose this Blaze Red colour Hatch back as a good option. So far fully satisfied with performance and it gives a good value for money ! (Top version ZXI ,ABS,AMT ( O) with Rs 6.05 lakhs on road price at Kerala).
Areas of improvement Dash board plastic quality - Not hard! Rear view appearance.

Hi I m datta laad from pune,I had purchased celerio ZXI MT in Feb.17, I have drive around 9000 km and I got 22 plus milage with AC on highway. So I feel very happy with my celero. Its interior and exterior is good also it's cico design is very nice, picup is very good,it's very nice model of maruti Suzuki.
