The buying experience was perfect, the waiting period was long. I own it since 2017. The driving experience is good because the engine gearbox and clutch combination is really good, k12 is jewel of an engine, it loves to be revved and bottom end is tractable as well, handling is average and predictable but a lot better than i20(previous gen, haven't driven the new one) there is body roll but high speed stability is fine although emergency braking above 130 km/h can cause the vehicle to lose its balance and line a bit.
Suspension is good at high and medium speeds but at low speeds it is harsh. The car is really feature loaded even in the mid trim it has all the essentials like power folding mirrors, automatic AC, rear wiper, defogger, steering mounted controls, speed sensing door lock.
The vehicle is reliable I have completed almost 4 years with it and have clocked 37k kms yet without any problem.
The interior quality is better than all the other Maruti's but a bit lower than Hyundai, build quality is light so outer panels are prone to dent but the vehicle is safe if you crash it upto 60-70kmph because I had an accident and everything worked as expected and I was safe. Average is good so is the AC split seats and adjustable rear head rests even in mid variant is highly appreciated. Service costs are okay, not cheap but not high as well.
The boot is huge and there is enough space in engine bay so it's to service and repair.
Overall I am satisfied with whatever I got for the amount that I paid, I doubt that any other car could have striked such a balance at this price point.
I have done many hill station trips as well ground clearance is good and power is adequate even with 5 passengers and luggage.
