Exterior overall outer look is good. specially the crome finish joining the two head lamps and rear wind shield which made extra sloppy and enhancing the look. i wish it would have the trunk rear lamp too.
Head lamp feels to have more lihgt intensity.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) DELTA version i had choosen based on my requirement on featurs like music system, all poer window, manual dimming IRVM. Overall its more than my expectation with other small features like dual charger point( front & rear) anti pinch one touch driver power window. blue tooth and music control on steering. In multi info system expected to have KMs to drive info
enough pockets for keeping different items.
IRVM feels to be little lower and obstruct the view of LEFT side view while turn or signal( may be i am a new driver is the reason
Space and comfort wise worth for money.
Being 5.11 inch, I feel the rear leg room is too spacious, also the rear seat is wide enough for 3 healthy adult.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Petrol engine is really noiseless. I had got complimets for friends that they cant hear the engine noise even from out side when the vehicle is start and still condition. Early stage i myself was confused if the vehicle is on or got stop and stand still condition. Fuel efficiency is not bad, upto the expectation. Till now I have driven 3500km with 1 service done. I use to drive only to office in moderate traffic and getting16KMPL. though its lesser than the milege claim, I am happy with this.
Ride Quality & Handling No much comment on riding quality. but it serves ok with 1.2 lt engine. meets expectation.
Final Words Overally happy with the car, but not with the sales. I literally faught with sales team of dealer for the delay, post commitment day.
Recent news of call back of cars for airbag software really turned me off and loosing the trust on maruti in terms of safety.
Since they offered basic safty( airbag, ABS and EBD) from std variant I had choosen Baleno, else had diff choice like amaze and Figo.
Now if the safety feature itself is a call back reason, it turns the mood off.
Areas of improvement SALES point curtesy, and respect to their own words. Still I have not received my extended warenty card.

Exterior Great Looking, chrome handles as well as Chrome plate at back adds to looks. Also Spolier is added in car so you need not purchase from outside.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Most important feature is Space. Excellent Space, so if you think of long drive then Baleno is the car for you. Music system is also good. Interior is all black, actually I don't like black colour that much so little negative, but it all depends on you. Also boot space is very large 340 lit, you only get 295 in I20.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I am using Baleno since Feb'16 and I have got economy of 19 KMPL in city and 21-22 on highways which is pretty good (I own Diesel version). Engine is same as that of Swift so no issues there.
Ride Quality & Handling Below 100 kmph it is really a smooth ride with great balance. Only issue is above 110 kmph, baleno wobbels above 110 kmph but mostly I use it in city where max speed can be 50-60 kmph so its quit ok with me.
Final Words Great car! No second doubt. You might compare it with I20 or Jazz, but it is far better then both these cars as in I20 there is space issue and in Jazz fuel economy is very low.
Areas of improvement Vehicle balance should be improved at high speed.

Exterior Very flimsy parts, recently met with an accident. car hit dog on highway, car speed was around 60km/hr. got heavy damages to car. Bumper , radiator , condensor and fog lamp changed. radiator amount bracket was broken.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are good but all trim parts are flimsy and shaky. there is no enough foam on the seat. rear seat is rattling. Doors are making noise. Armrest is not designed ergonomically. I cannot reach armrest, my height is around 5' 5''.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very bad fuel economy, i am getting 12kms/lt against 18km/lt what Maruti claims. Maruti is claiming 21km/lt average on highways but i never got that mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling Good, ground clerance is good. rear suspensions are very hard. you can feel vibrations coming to occupant.
Final Words I will not recommend because of bad fuel economy and safety concerns. I have bought Baleno (Maruti car) because of good mileage but this car is not giving mileage. earlier I was using Wagon R that was good in terms of mileage.

Pl do not buy this car. My car is less than Two years old and now feel like a Ten year old car. Noisy brakes, suspension, and extremely poor milage. Only 10 km/litre. I made a big mistake by going for this car. Should have gone for either i20 or Honda Jazz. Service really sucks and also wonder if this is the service we are getting from Nexa, I pity the Maruti owners who are having the standard products. There is a big sound due to the rubberband effect of the automatic version and really very irrittating one. The built quality is also very poor. I am also comparing with Other Cars like i10 which comes from a lower segment and the quality is much better compared to Baleno. Hence please do not go for Balano and that is based on my experience. I am trying to dispose it off and trying to get an i20 or Honda Jazz.
So think 100 times before you buy this inferior product.

Exterior Looks different and good from back side.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It is comfortable and spacious.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear get stuck everytime unless clutch is pressed hard. I think it is designed so.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride is good except gear stuck issue.
Final Words Service personnel were unprofessional, careless, poorly trained. Service advisor was available on phone and didn't bothered to visit the vehicle. Service centre was like road side mechanic shop and like mismanaged govenment offices.
Car is a good built car and value for money but after sale service response is poor. Our car front right side rear view mirror was pressed by some person while parked outside. There was no visible damage only pressed slightly more than normal by someone. We visited service centre at Ramgarh during first service but they could not rectify the issue in view of absence of mechanic. We visited to Kanke Service Centre. Where there was no service advisor, service advisor was available at phone only. The electronic mirror was given for repair to Denter. It was not got repaired inspite of all function working except rotation in reversed. They replaced it in Rs. 4700/- ( so costly).

Areas of improvement Interiors can be more contemprory like Hyundai. Overall I feel the car is very fresh looking and different in style. The most I liked is the space for the rear passengers and when you drive with family on the highway I am sure this will be a class aprt.Whatever i have booked the car and waiting for delivery. The delivery is expected to be this month end according to the dealer the bookings are very heavy on a daily basis. The most preferred colour being RAY BLUE which is very different looking compared to its competitiors.
I will surely recommend this for those looking to graduate to a sedan or Hatchback in the luxury segment.

Exterior Amazing Design. Daytime Running Light and Projector headlamps makes the car look premium.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior features like 7 inch touchscreen is quick responsive , parking sensors, voice command, boot lamp, 3 reading lamps, illuminated glove box, illuminated boot well, Auto climate control AC, amazing speakers 4+2 with awesome sound quality,excellent space and excellent comfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Have driven 1400 kms and the City average is 24.7 currently and average oh highway was 26.7 Kmpl.
Due to reduced wieght of body , fuel economy is visibly good than swift. Gear box shifting for this perticular VVT engine is good ans smooth. Engine is well proven and Even for servicing , you don't need to go to NEXA showrooms. Local Maruti Suzuki authorised service stations are there for it. Gear box is very smooth and easy to shift.
Ride Quality & Handling Car handles really well even at the spped of 120-140 kmph and you never feel that the car is out of control.
Final Words Truly powerful, smooth and the car is a delight to drive.
Areas of improvement Engine noice at lower speed may be reduced otherwise nothing.

Awesome as usually. I have ray blue colour. It look eye pleasing. Big and wide tires are greatest in the class. UV protector glasses are luxury class.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Very decent at such price, front seats are comfortable but rear sears are flat bench. Most spacious car in this segment. Just look at the leg space for all. Quality of the interior is great. Boot space is more than swift dzire. There should be more cusioning in the rear seat though. It feels like sitting on the plastic bench. But driver seat and co passenger seat is great. Audio system is average and satisfactory for this price range.

Better than all cars around in this seagment, milegae is around 18 kmpl petrol that is unbelivble for a such big car.

Just amazing, drive it and know it. Big tires can drive away in pitted Indian roads smootly.

The car is 4.5/5 If you are getting petrol car, just go for it, don't confuse with polo and i20.

Rear Seats comfort, I won't expect like big sedans but should be as good as dzire.
Booking and delivery should be smooth.

Exterior Its very delicate car. One should have proper parking space. When it is new car no one would like to see even a single scratch, which otherwise very difficult in the cities.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Lacking remote boot opening. Otherwise have all features, spacious and comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The auto gear CVT makes the driving highly comfortable, more so in the city driving. Your driving tension becomes joy to drive.
Ride Quality & Handling Anyone can drive it, one would not get tired even after driving continuously for 8 hours.
Final Words Most comfortable to drive the automatic version. However, Maruti should have given the specific booklet for the variant one has purchased, rather than absert reading of all variants. In today's world no one would like to put stress on going through the machine one has not purchased.
Areas of improvement More power to the car should have made it powerful machine to drive it confidently. Improvement is needed to provide model specific booklet, and remote boot opening.

Exterior The design of Baleno Alpha is wonderful. The daytime running LED lamps, rear design and rear LED lamps are too good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is so spacious.. good leg room, nice comfort for driving.. I loved the Apple Play system alot. Bluetooth n GPS are working superbly. Multi Info Instrumental Cluster is really awesome.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The performance of the Baleno is really good for City & Highways.. I have ride few hundreds of Kilometers, getting an average of 17.5 KMPL even riding at 130-140 KMPH. This is really too good. The intial pickup is a bit less compared to its competitors. But, braking and performance are good enough.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is really awesome especially for long rides. I'm enjoying alot with my BALENO.. The handling of this car is fentastic, with ABS.
Final Words Besides poor plastic interiors, still feel Good value for money because of its features, performance & handling.
Areas of improvement The interior plastics used, & Suspension could be even smoother.
