Servicing and maintenance: Good sorry I still didn't get my new Thar to service center. My old Thar oil change only costs the oil costs. Not much of labor cost. after 60000 you have to work on suspicion bushkits which will cost you nearly 40000 and also. 2012 Thar brake fails much. 2014 Thar was really a beast good weight and performance ratio. 2018 Thar body less weight and the performance is just lagging compared to 2014 model.
Pros and Cons: Silent on body. Engine never vibrates at higher rpm Miracle. Body is rough metal not a good value for money. Soft top flaps loud for outside wind and sucks out AC. Soft top thread get week and leaks you have to re stitch once after few year. Powerful if you by BSIII. BSIV lagging a bit compared to older model and also lighter. If you going only on road get a car Security is lacking Advanced features needed for that cost. Music system is lacking but unsecured if you fix one. AC loads good. If back is open dust get inside the cabin. Not good for speeding above120
