Tricky Thar

Hello folks! Teja here to write about "Thar". Well thanks Mahindra for such a wonderful vehicle. I had a relatively great buying experience with Neon Motors. Such a nice neat and prompt delivery by sales person. It was like a love at first sight with this beast for me. Ride qaulity has been improved from the previous version ( Mine is 2017 Model). Thanks to its modified front seats. The independent front suspension will provide you with good enough ride quality. Thar has got an unique quality which is it's road presence due to it's rugged macho looks. It does well on highways clocking speeds upto 130 kmph (didn't dare to drive faster due to lack of Abs). It is really a driver's car and you can literally fell the adrenaline rush in you while you drive. You can feel the power of it even at 100 kmph if you put your pedal on accelarator. The offroad capabilities are already proven and with apt accessories it is likely to go anywhere and conquer any terrain. I have got no such service issues as such and thanks to Mahindra Jeep like maintenance costs which aren't pocket killing. Regular service costs are similar to other diesel engines if not less. Pros: 1. Best in class offroad vehicle 2. Iconic Jeep look 3. Powerful car Cons: 1. Gear box gets heated up easily and you can feel the heat hitting your foot while you drive for longer hours. 2. Cannot be everyones choice. 3. Ride at back can give you hard time. 4. Mileage in city traffic may slump to worst and in traffic it's hard to drive due to it's heavy clutch. 5. Lesser safety features. Having said all this, it is mostly fun to drive it without fear and it is a unique vehicle and it's a jeepers love.
