There was a 1.5 month wait for the delivery other than buying experience was good. I had taken test drive n immediately like it for it's exterior looks n comfort driving. Only problem are the brakes. Bolero has the worst set of brakes for a big n tough vehicle. Lot of ppl justify this by telling "don't drive fast". But the parking brakes r equally bad as well. I wouldn't recommend this vehicle for rural areas because if u park this vehicle on a pretty steep surface it has a tendency to roll back. This coupled with lack of safety features might make Bolero a death machine.
Another con would be the huge turning radius. Midrow seats cannot b folded that's real sad. Basically a tiny i10 with seats folded can carry lot more than a huge bolero and that's really disappointing. there are a couple of pros too.the ac is amazing. It cools the cabin real quick even if it doesn't have rear ac vents. No blindspot problems. A, B, C pillars don't block Ur view in any way.Very light clutch n good torque so that traffic driving and climbing slopes are really smooth no pain in legs even after drying through long hours of traffic. Servicing charges comes to about 4000-5500 RS and that's good comparing a lot of cars. As per practicality I would not recommend buying a bolero especially if u live in rural areas, in cities, it's good if u are a really good driver. But if u want to buy a vehicle with a good road presence for the cheapest price u can go for it. also there r a lot of Bolero fans out there so u vehicle gets admired where ever u go. As a result resale values good.
