Xcent by Hyundai is probably the best car in that segment. We are using the car since 3 and a half years now. Below is the honest review of the car.
1. Design: Xcent sports a good design with sturdy built. Material used is of good quality both inside and outside. The design is such that it wont let the car bump into high raised speedbreakers protecting it from unnecessary damage.
And the interiors dont feel plasticy. What I love is the space the car offers. There are 4 bottle cavities on the 4 doors, 2 cavities near gear for bottle/glass, one box with a flat below stereo which helps to keep my phone and money safely. I can just slide the flip and hide it from onlookers.
The car also offers a decent leg space for even 6 feet and taller people.
2. Driving experience: The driving seat it adjustable and even for short-heighted people, it's not a hassle to look down the road.
And the driving experience is just awesome as expected by a Hyundai car. The performance is definitely at par than the other cars of this segment as i have taken test drives of various cars.
Brakes are quick and appropritate. Steering is smooth like butter. The functioning of clutch and gear wouldn't let one feel tired even after continuous driving for long hours even in traffic area. And most importantly driving Xcent doesn't feel risky at all. The car isn't too smooth or too hard.
3. Accessories: Let's talk about A.C. Now the A.C. definitely keeps the car cool but it doesn't directly throw air on its driver. The A.C. vents are blocked by it's steering. So during heavy sunlight, you will end up sweating. But in the night and evenings, the A.C. performs really well.
Stereo is the best part about the car. The bass and volume are up to the mark. They feel classic and not cheap.
Rest another favourite feature is it's inbuilt remote for rear view mirrors, helps a lot in parking as it is easy to adjust the mirror to get a close view of the side areas.
The coolbox also works fine as it doesn't let it's contents melt or heat up. It maintains the temperature.
All in all, its worth the money and would keep you safe and stressfree(while driving) for years to come as the car will definitely last long.
