It has a robust build. That is the reason of it's comfortable to drive over long distances.It's parts are mostly imported from South Korea so replacement cost of spare parts is higher than even the next-gen Verna. But because of it quality is of the maximum level.I experience about Rs 10000 to 21000 spare replacement costs every two or three years.I had to change the alternator last year at Rs 21K as it's a switch or something was damaged. The Hyundai dealer said it could be repaired but it may malfunction in the future.So I replaced the alternator.....peace of mind.I always keep the car new like and premium. Periodic maintenance service cost is reasonable....under Rs 4000. The requirement of PMS is as per driving conditions. Hyundai Care App says pms is required once a year but I do it every six months.Note....even in PMS I change engine oil and filter only if the car has run 5K km since last oil change. Mileage on the highway is not a problem if driven between 50 kmph and 70 kmph speed, delivers 14-16 kmpl.Fuel efficiency reduces at an increasing rate beyond this speed.In stop and go crowded traffic conditions it delivers between 6-8 kmpl fuel efficiency.The car is my buddy.I plan to keep it for 20 more years or even more.
