Exterior Excellent.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Front seats are too low to be of comfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent.
Ride Quality & Handling Ground clearence is too low. You are always tense while driving about the humps and gutters on the Indian roads. You do not always ride on the highways; that too have un-predictable gutters. Excellent while riding on the smooth highways. Excellent power and you can relax your legs on the long drives. I drove it for an hour continuously.
Final Words I was very thrilled and was planning to book one after reading the initial write-ups on the auto magazines and their e-brochure. I badly needed a replacement for my Accent CRDi that is faithfully serving me for last 5 years. It never got me in to any breakdown troubles so far.
But I was totally dis-heartened when the bottom center hit at the first lowest hump where even my Santron and Accent CRDi does not even mind! I was test driving on my regular route from home to office. Also felt like sitting on the car-floor with the too low positioned front seats. The suspension is tooo soft; hence the first problem. Both these points are important to me since I drive quite a lot on my Accent.
It would have been nice to name it as 'Fluidic' instead of the failure 'Verna'. Hyundai should have learned from the success of the Accent and the way they had to bring it back to the market. The main success of the Accent variant are its comfortable seating position and the ground clearence. I have decided to wait for a few months to see whether Hyundai is going to do something about these points. Otherwise may opt for Renault Fluence.
Areas of improvement Increase the ground clearance.
Increase the seat height or provide a facility to pump UP the seat.
Would have loved if the front seats were power adjustable at least on the top variants.
Everything else is excellent.

Exterior Awesome looks inspired by the Fluidic design. Makes others envy you.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Decent interiors with biege finish, could have been made more rich for the price the car is quoted.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pretty smooth drive, transition is smooth, and pickup too. Not in the initial RPM due to the BS-4 lag but car does great in 3rd and higher gears. Milege is not so good.
Ride Quality & Handling Easy to handle, doesnt give you a mid size car feel. point and shoot in any direction u want.
Final Words Overall its a good car. Sexy styling but little costly for the money we spend. The best part is- SPARE PARTS ARE TOOO MUCH CHEAP FPOR THIS CAR. 2 TIMES LOW THAN OLDER VERNA AND HIGHLY COMPETETIVE TO MARUTHI SPARE PARTS. DAMN CHEAP

Love the style and looks. Hyundai has made a class of it's own in the segement. Makes a "WOW" statement whenever friends come around it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Very smart dashboard and interiors. Space is very good. The backseat could have been better for 3 adults by not keeping the "rise" in the middle.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Seems to be giving very good performance. Good power, great acceleration. Low noise considering this is a diesel vehicle. Just 6 months using it.. hopfully will stay at this level or better =o)
Real time fuel mileage really makes a difference around optimizing driving habits.
Ride Quality & Handling
Overall very good ride quality except for the strange knock when rides over pot holes at 20 kmph + speeds at times.
Final Words
Very happy with the buy till now. Hyundai after sales service is extremely good, hands down.
Areas of improvement
At this point only the following comes to mind around "improvement areas"
1) The "knock" sound when driving over pot holes at speeds around 20 kmph plus speeds.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Really very nice performance, comfortable steering control in the city roads, smooth shifitng of Gears.
Ride Quality & Handling I very much impressed when I bought this car, I had checked all the other possibilities of a Diesel Car with a 12Lacs. budget, I found this one is really value for money. Now the car is 14 Months old, I already driven 30,000Kms. Last 3000 Kms I am facing the following problems
1.Car suddenly became dead,- After complaining to the HMP, they towed the vehicle on the same day, but they took 3 days to understand the problem. They found immobilizer was gone. To replace that, they took 2 weeks. Even I am Chennai, Hyundai Plant also in Chennai, to get a spare they need more than 10Days???
I suspect they are not using quality electrical systems inside the car, because I can't believe that within 1 year the immobilizer will become a issue. Also they are not giving confident, in future it may not happen. So I am really worried to drive this car to out stations.
2.One of the small accident the Front headlight was damaged, to replace that it took 10Days for them, answer is same, the spare is not available.
3. Now the car is 30000kms crossed, the clutch become very hard, if I am driving in the city traffic for an hour, the same day evening I am getting Knee pain in my left leg. Twice I complained to HMP, but there is no improvement, I think they will give me a answer to replace the Clutch.
4. Now I am slightly feeling that the AC is not functioning properly, I don't know what could be the answer from HMP for that.
Overall my honey moon period with this Car is over, now I am facing the real technology of Hyundai for the Diesel version.
Final Words Being a user I shall not recommend this car other people, because Hyundai don't have a good technology for the Diesel version cars. This my second car from Hyundai, I already had a Accent Petrol, I drove the car around 140,000 Kms, without any problem.

Final Words Only problem with Suspension. Need to stable fast after getting a Jerk. I mean it must have suspension with stabilizer. Even Hyundai Acent is better than Verna as far as Suspension and comfort is concern.
Areas of improvement Verna is outstanding except It's suspension.Hyundai should provide new suspension with stabilizer to all the exhisting customers to regain it's brand image. It has been done previouly by most of the reputed brands. Otherwise New honda City or other will takeover Verna in a very short span of time. Would like to share my experience.
Just a few days back, on the National Highway No 6, While crossing the Puddle on the road, the Vehical Jumpover and and suddenly Left sided both the tyres have been burst. Since the speed was less i could managed it. Although it was a very horrible experience for me in the night at 9.30 pm, as i could'nt get any help even after calling your helpline number. I couldent understand whether it is a problem with tyer or of suspension. Waiting for reply from Hyundai.

Exterior Superb looks compared to Vento,SX4,Ford Fiesta,City or any similar size car
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All features are good, but definitely requires rear AC vent, bcoz its too hot for rear pax.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good pickup and speed. Very bad mileage,I repeatedly checked Full tank to Full tank on city drive with A/c it gives only 11Km per litre - Advertisement misleading!
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth power steering and shock absorbers. I have Spinal Cord,Neck & Back problems,but this car is really good compared to Vento & other similar size cars.
Final Words Every one wants good mileage. Verna needs a huge improvement in mileage

# Rear Aircondition vent required badly
# Rear view mirror fixed to wind shield is poor idea. Change mounting position. In my car the mirror fell hanging breaking from the pasting chipping the wind shield glass.
# To improve the windshield quality.
# Driver seat adjustment - when we turn the knob to increase height, the front portion raises not the rear portion. This technology is poor.
# Clearance height to be increased. This is India!

Verna fluidic has a lot going for it in looks. Yet to meet some one who does not like it in looks. (Some may prefer subtle vento-ish design but they still are happy about verna fluidic's looks). I love fog lamps, curves on bonnet and little bump on the boot. Big alloy wheels also add to the pleasing to eye looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
A very long list of features. Blutooth, audio system, rear parking sensors and camera with excellent low light viewing, folding side mirrors, abs+ebd, steering wheel controls, aux and usb compatibility, etc.
Space is adequate for most drives for 4 people, unless all 4 passengers are 6ft + in height on a long drive. Forget 5 people of normal size even for 1 hour drive. Curved rear seat and stiff back side of center arm rest for 5th person makes it a total no no.
Front seats are very generous for comfort. Back seat comfort IS THE ONLY NEGATIVE OF THE CAR DUE TO VERY SPRINGY REAR SUSPENSION. and it's a huge negative. Low profile tyres make sure to pass all vibrations due to bad roads transfer to rear passengers. I wish hyundai changes the suspension set-up. Learn from ford.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
1.6litre crdi 127bhp, class leading and best performing. And add to the fact that it still has better economy than vento or rapid who come 2nd on power in the class.
With 100% ac on, i
n mumbai city traffic, 13-14 and on highways having speed of 140-160+ on an average (bombay-goa via pune kolhapur road) I still got 18.5 kpl. If I had driven around 100-120, surely would have got upwards of 22kpl.
Gear box is one of the usp. 6speed manual makes mileage figures go up and basically any speed post 75kph, put in 6th gear and drive like you want. Rev hard and keep on overtaking cars of mind your own and cruise at 80kph. Works like a charm. Full marks here.
Ride Quality & Handling
Handling is pretty acceptable. Not like ford but absolutely workable. I have seen people complaining about feather touch steering wheel and danger of high speeds, I didn't feel any need to panic. Just takes some time to get used to. But this is actually better for non tiring journeys. feedback of steering wheel could be better.
Ride Quality is biggest disappointment of this car owing to soft and spongy suspension set-up. After 20-30 mins of highway driving it really gets on to you. Irritating. The positives of this car are many, but this particular negative takes away all.
Final Words
For city driving this car is still best (compared to vento, rapid, new honda city, etc.) Just don't take 5th passenger. For highways, better to sit in last row of innova than rear seat of fluidic verna. 1 important point to mention, if yout boot is loaded with weight, somehow rear suspension acts less irritating!!

Final Words It was my bigest mistake that I purchased this car just at looking it's interior & Exterior which is so enchantng & Attactive. But there is big problem of suspenssion, it is bouncy & unstable. Even it cant sustained a small jurk. Except look I am quite disatistisfied with the performance . Even after several reminders company fails to address this issue. Pl. feel free to contact me before purchasing because I don't want others to suffer throgh the same problem. Except look there is nothing good with this car. You can thing about some other options.

Exterior No one can come near in terms of exteriors looks verna looks awesome in its style.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior also looks dashing but can be better. Space at the rear looks a bit cramped for the person sitting in the middle.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance is good. Mileage can be better and gearbox is good as well.
Ride Quality & Handling Steering is feather touch and very light not sure if it will suit all the ppl some ppl may like that some ppl may not differs from person to person. At high speeds as its a 1.6L engine it can be dangerous because of the feather touch steering. Poor suspension - Felt very touch seated at the back. Very powerful engine. I guess we can cruise all you like.
Final Words A good car can go with it for looks and power.
Areas of improvement I m sure Hyundai will have a look at the suspension factor and mileage. Stability at high speeds.
