Exterior When it comes to the outer body, there is no comparison with other vehicles in this segment. They are just marvellous. I personally felt that White one looks like a big, huge SUV with spoilers and 16 inch Diamond cut rims. Beautiful!
The Day Time LED lamps add more beauty to the i20 Active. Feels like an Audi :)
Ground clearance has been increased which makes it more sporty and rugged. You don't feel like you are sitting on the ground while driving (which was very off putting in VW Polo).
There is only one reverse parking light, that too on bottom right side. Installing reverse parking alarm is kind of compulsory here - a disadvantage.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The seats are very comfortable and it could fit 3 of us quite easily in the back. However I being 6 ft 2 in kept hitting my head on side roof in the back. But that disadvantage disappeared when I sat in the driver seat. It is much spacious there. I was able to adjust my seat easily and had plenty of space above my head.
We took a test drive in a White car so we had blue and black interiors. They weren't exactly my type which was the sad part as the White coloured car stood out among it's other color variants. The black and tangy orange interior of dark coloured Active is more classy.
The rear view mirror comes with reverse parking camera sensor. However they could've placed it more upwards in order to have better view for the driver.
The boot space is 285 litres which is big enough for two huge bags to fit in. Cool blue lights that light up the dashboard look so majestic. You can even control their intensity using a knob. Fantastic! The i20 Active comes with Aluminium pedals that add to the sporty look from the inside.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.4 Diesel engine had a great pick up! Shifting between gears was very smooth. Can't comment on Fuel Economy as I don't own the vehicle.
Ride Quality & Handling I am not joking when I say that you can turn/operate this car using your little finger! The steering is so sensitive that you won't even feel you're driving a 1300 kg vehicle. Ride quality is pretty smooth and hassel free.
Final Words Planning to buy diesel top end version (1.4 SX) but really confused about whether I should go for Better Exterior or interior.
Areas of improvement More head space at the back. A better and longer armrest. Need an option with Sunroof. No distance to empty or avg fuel consumption (are you kidding me??). Most important area of improvement - NO Petrol SX version or Automatic Transmission.

Exterior Awesome looks, daylight running lamps along with projector headlamps gives it a premium feel. Very good ground clearance
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Front seats are very spacious with middle arm rest is a boon for the driver. The driver seat is height adjustable. Plenty of cubby holes which is a great boon and a specs/glares holder..wow! The dashboard lighting is also nice and classy unlike the dull orange ones we see in other cars.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Getting a very good average now after my 1st servicing, getting close to 19 in city and 22 on highway. Gear box is well placed and the reverse gear is button pull up method since this car comes with 6 manual gears.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is good, the steering is a little too sensitive but good in city drive..the noise insulation done is very good and you wont get any engine (diesel engines are very noisy) inside.
Final Words Very good car, awesome ground clearance and loaded with features...go for it

Exterior
Poor rubber fitting came out after 7 months, not expected from a Hyundai as many say Hundai has it 'The Best'. Motor-Cycle like fuel lid makes it awkward and Out-Of-Place. Only one Reverse Indicator (Cost-Cutting). SHAME ON YOU Hyundai!😱 And still is called the Best Quality car manufacturer!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Good to see that this is an exceptional car to feature a low height Floor-Hump unlike the VW cars and welcomely accepts the 5th occupant but the truely intrusive Air-Vents spoil the show. Leg-room is a lot, a 6-Footer can easily sit behind another 6-footer.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
A dumb CRDi engine, it makes it down to the Service Centre a lot, took me to the Service Centre 7 times in 1 Year due to breakdown!! But should be appreciated that it is easy to repair. Maybe that's why Mechanics too get a lot of income and are more interested in job!!! Engine is also VERY WEAK, even the cheap KUV 100 has a 80 BHP diesel engine. Fuel Economy is greatly claimed but gives about 11.5 kpl on road. Gearbox is easy to shift but feels quite rubbery while shifting from 3+gear to 1st or 2nd and is a curse to change.
Ride Quality & Handling
NVH levels are Best-in-Class and there is almost NO engine sound in the cabin. Suspensions are quite managing for ditches and bumps but maybe are poorly fitted. I felt so because it has a LOT of Body-Roll, more than the 2005 Scorpio!!😱
Final Words
Good car but needs a LOT of improvement and is not worth buying with much affordable and better quality cars like the KUV 100, upcoming Tata Hexa, Current Tata Aria and other crossovers nearby

Almost INFINITE!! The list is,
Decrese body roll, Get rid of that **** CRDi Engine type and a more powerful engine please!!We want better quality of fitting of Rubber-Beading, remove that awkward looking Fuel Lid, try to improve on road mileage (10 kpl less than claimed mileage!!), I BEG YOU TO LEAVE COST-CUTTING!!

Exterior The hyundai i20 active is having the best ever exteroir.It looks like mini creta or mini duster.The best ever exterior exterior is only in this car. The styling is best in its segment. The alloy wheels assist it in making it more stunning and mind blowing.Projector lights attracts everyone.Skid plates are the strongest one ever.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable than swift or Punto. It has more convenience than other competitor cars.More space than swift.Rear Ac vents is first in segment.Rear sensors is more effective in this car than other cars.Navigation System is the best to go anywhere.Steering mounted controls are more better in this car than other cars.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Agile performance. Fantastic Pickup 0-100 in 10.56secs. Brilliant Mileage of city 18 km/l and 19.88km/l on highways. More than suficient torque of 22.4kg/m or 220Nm@2000rpm.High power of 88Bhp@4000rpm.Very best performance for this car as it is having lesser weight than big Suvs.
Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable suspension. It is having more ground clearance than swift or elite i20 of 19cms. To face every bad roads. More comfortable even on bad roads.
Final Words At the end, I can say that it is the best car ever made.

Exterior It is clearly one of the most beautiful things ever created in the recent Indian automotive times. This piece of art: i20 Elite/ Active reminds me of the Volkswagen Scirocco; which until now, I thought to be the best looking hatchback ever created
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Once you get inside, it is fabulous! The two tone colors, the small digital display for climate control, the steering mounted controls, the chrome inserts: all make a great impression. The winner here is of course the two tone color scheme: With a choice of racy orange or a cool blue options to play around in the dashboard
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The drive is what every Hyundai drive is like: smooth, soft steering, comfortable suspension. Gear shifts are leisurely and the engine is quite rev-happy. There is no turbo charger here and the 1.4L diesel pot does not feel like it needs one.
Ride Quality & Handling I know it handles really well at high speeds as well, a tad better than the Swift/Ritz and almost in the league of the VW Polo or the Ford Figo. On the highway, I do wish the steering had more weight. The smoothness of the steering means curtailing any form of feedback from the road: a standard characteristic of Hyundais.
Final Words I love this car and would recommend it to the right category of people. Under-powered: umm. Not really, Pricey, yes. But the looks and features will sweep you away. Make no mistake; this is eventually a lifestyle vehicle.
Areas of improvement The i20 Active is trying hard, but it cannot be a real SUV.

Exterior Good exterior is good however they can increase the front departure angle to have more driveability in bad road.Having sunroof may add more value.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performnace is ok could have been better if hyndai provide min 100 BHP power.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is ok, i did not feel like new car drive on bad road-het lots of sound from frnt axile and rear parcel tray..
Final Words In my car there was many issues including safety like car oulls left and right on slow and high speed and this is not rectified yet.Gear stucks sometime in crowded road, music panel does not support with my phone..overall all which shines is not the gold-hyndai should focus on quality not only look and sales graph.There is no auto lock feature for car door which is a great safty miss from Hyndai..everytime you have to manually press a button on front D/B.
Areas of improvement Ride quality,Safty features like brake,steering control ,alignment,front suspension and more power.
Must to quality check for all cars going out of factory.Add autolock feature.
