i20 Asta Petrol...On the whole a very good package...!!!

Exterior

Styling is pretty neat. I personally liked it much better than all the cars in that class. 

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

It's a loaded vehicle with features like music system with USB port, climate control, electrically foldable mirrors, ABS, airbags, smart alloys, rear wash & wipe, front & rear fog lamps, front & rear windscreen demister, etc. I personally feel that this is a true VFM car..!!

Seating space & comfort is better than all the cars of this category barring the Honda Jazz. 

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Performance is a bit weak compared to other cars. The second gear feels dead. You have to work up the gearbox to squeeze out every ounce of power. 

Fuel economy is OK for a car weighing 1 ton. I get around 11.5~12.0 kpl in city

Gearbox is slick & smooth 

 

Ride Quality & Handling

Ride quality is fine. Tends to get a bit unsettled on broken roads & potholes.

Handling is not as crisp as the Japanese rivals. The steering does not give a proper feedback & feels over-assisted.

Final Words

Excellent Value for Money Car...!!!

1. Aircon efficiency 

2. Improve gear ratios for better performance

3. Niggling quality issues should be improved
