ஹூண்டாய் i20 [2012-2014] யூசர் ரிவ்யுஸ்

 

Exterior I think the muscular VW Polo is the best looking hatchback right now,but im totally hooked onto the curves of my i20.I always thought Hyundai made weird looking cars(I used to drive a Santro),but the i20 has made me eat my own words.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior features and space where the real deal breaker between the i20 and the Polo.

1.Steering controls-a joy to use while driving.

2.Bluetooth audio &telephony controls-Im addicted to this luxury.

3.Auto Air Con-good feature although I use manual mostly.

4.Electric ORVMs-already saved my new mirrors twice in traffic.

5.Seats-Ultra comfy and rear space is good enough for me too(im 6ft tall).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2 kappa engine does its work rather well in city,and is enough to drive like a human on highway as well,although it does feel runnin out of breath sometimes during highway overtaking.If you are interested in outright speed and pickup,well this is not the car for you. I would give it 3 out of 5.

Fuel economy has not been calculated as yet,since I have tanked full and covered 210kms as of now.The fuel gauge shows theres 2/3rd left.I will update and calculate during my next full tank.

Ride Quality & Handling Again this is not a car for outright handling.It does its job well for sedate to moderately fast driving.Ride quality is good most of the times,but sometimes it does make you uncomfortable on even medium sized potholes and speedbumps.Small patches of bad road are harldy felt.The EPS is a boon for city traffic and does tighten up at speed,its not as bad as people make it to be.Im happy with the way the steering responds and have adjusted my driving style accordingly. I would give it 4 out of 5.

Final Words I am happy with my car and I feel its totally VFM.Im learning how to use all the features properly and it never stops me from getting that smile on my face everytime I drive it.

Areas of improvement Suspension.

Styling,Interiors,Comfortable seats,smooth engine for city driving,bluetooth,steering controls.Ride is sometimes harsh

 

Exterior Great exteriors, sharp features.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome interiors, feels like a sedan, music system is good, though they shud giev ipod connectivity with usb also, its there but one cannot change the songs. the blue illuminating display is really attractive especialy in the night, great leg space for people sitting behind.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good, pick up is really smooth, although i feel that it has less power when driving on slope areas. I have driven it in Hyderabad and there are a lot of slope areas in hitech city, i feel it gives less power and one has to drive in 1st or 2nd gear only. The fuel economy is also with which m a little dissappoited. The average is usually around 10Kmpl. Gearbox is smooth and gears can be changed very easily with a finger.

Ride Quality & Handling Smooth drive, gr9 pickup, nice handling also esp on curves.

Final Words Gr8 car and good value for money compared to swift, polo, beat and other cars in the segment. Although jazz can also be considered.

Areas of improvement Fuel economy and ipod connectivity feature.

Good interiors like Sedan class, nice audio system, the bluetooth connectivity is also good, nice ACFuel economy-10-11kmpl, low power while driving on slopes

 

Exterior Exterior is the best in its segment.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space wise, Feature wise and comfort wise, we can compare it with a sedan car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Dont know more about engine performance.. but i really enjoy driving my i20 more than another in its segment, In the starting it was giving only 12 per km but now i have driven more 4000 km and it is giving 14.75 k.m per ltr in the city. I m very much satisfied with the i20. The company representive assured me for 15 km/l average and i think it has got it. I am so happy with the Car and the performance. it made a different identity in my circle. my i20 gives the complex to the people who are driving swift around me. I strongly recommend to buy Hyundai i20.

Final Words When i reached office with my new i20 there was so many people around the car to know about it. I never saw this type of curosity for any other car. It is because of the features and the designing by Hyundai. Just want to say thanx to Hyundai for make a marvelous car.

Exterior Beautiful and eyecatiching design, good front and side views, beatiful tail lamps.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Marvellous interior, blue light on dash gives soothing effect to eyes  front and rear leg room, good, gud boot space.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance excellent power on 3rd and 4th gear is excellent, fuel effeciency, not satisfactiry as we think nwadays, it give 19 with full A/C, but nwadays our expectation is more, I ride my car every alternative days 140 km. excellent performnce.

Ride Qualitoy & Handling Ride quality marvelous. stearing smwhat good handling, but not that much smooth. it not at all gives any strain to me, and A.C is very powerful. even the cool remains for hours. Itraveelleomin it 140 km, with my collegues, they also feel very good comfort in it.

Final Words How price of i20 is reduced because the gear system is reduced from 6 to 5. so it is really value for money, and it realy a sedan class, and have many features which not seen in sedans like dezire and indigo.

Areas of improvement It has no fog lamp. every other small cars have fog lamps, why this car only have it in Asta (topversion) if they provide it in all versions it could be better.

Exterior Exterior is really amazing. It has got the smooth curves to appeal the most. If seen from the front then looks like a sedan.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is really awesome and can outbeat ay medium range sedan. Space is enough. Comfortable in long haule drives.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is silent and smooth. Gear is very smooth while shifting. One thing that i really dont like is the poosr milegae. Even when AC is not on.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is excellent and very stable in high speed. Steering response is very good.

Final Words If you wish to own a sedan but can not afford it then definetly I20 is the smartest choise. This car gives you the luxury of a sedan in the cost of a hatch back. This car is far ahead then any other car in this segment.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pep drive, decent mileage, smooth gear control,except reverse gear does not place properly.

Ride Quality & Handling Steering gets harder sometimes, otherwise it is smooth, and comfortable driving, sometimes there is rattling sound in the driver side door, I do not whether it is because of second car, i have informed the show room where we bought but they it is a minor problem, when they delivered vehicle they did not service it just for sake of cleaning they applied oil and deliever.

Final Words Very good vehicle, only the mileage problem if it gives little more mileage and importantly aftersales service, and followup with the customer, it would be very best vehicle. When they delieverd the second vehicle the hyundai showrrom never bothered to remove the broken number plate, not cleaned , but they promised us that they deliver the car after proper servicing with new number plate, but nothing was done

Areas of improvement After sale service, customer relation, there is no followup from showroom, the sales people totally non customer friendly, tactful, not many service centres, spare parts expensive campare to Indian companies, need a strong customer realtion skill.

Ride Quality & Handling I am able to travel even 180KM/Hour without any issue. Nice Vechicle I love it. But Hyundai has to think about customer regarding the features Like AVN. I paid 42K more. But it is totaly useleass. I recommend that based on my experience hyundai either stop cheating customer by having this feature and keep its good brand name

Final Words Excellant Except AVN

Areas of improvement Hyundai must stop selling the faulty AVN system modal. Since AVN system are having lot of problems either they have to repay the difference in amount and fit regular i20 music system or provide proper support. I am totaly disappointed. My mobile number is 9940137976.

While deliver my vehicle, sales person not deliver the tools kit. I saw in the boot space, they showed me the Jack Bag and told me that it is the tool kit. I thought all are inside. They got my signature. I found later (After a month, during first service) it was missed. Hyundai driver while pick up the vechicle for first service, he informed that tool kit was missing. I approach DSC Hyundai Porur. They told we already delivered. I even ready to pay . But no one helped me to provide that tool kit. I totaly upset way the DSC hyundai did. As a customer, I am ready to pay. But they told parts can't be procured for this case.I don't know.

So Hyundai has to frequently monitor the dealers and get feedback from customer. Hyundai has to directly talk to end customer to improve its customer service appart from cheating dealers like DSC.

Interior.AVN- I totaly Upset with AVN system. Almost DSC took my vechicle 4 to 5 times, still not resolved

Exterior Very impressive,attractive but one disappointing this is no fog lamp so not look so good from front.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Superb features best in its class even many sedan cars don't have these features so best to buy.space wise it spacious for driver but not enough space for co-driver so if shifts the seat to back side to incease space reduces the leg space for the back seater this is the only drawback for the the comfort  while drive its superb to drive it gives the comfort of griving like a sedan so very good to buy.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is superb it gives the experience of driving a petol car so loot of thrill really sporty fuel economy is not that much good in comparison with the swift so think before buy and gearbox is very smooth effortless gear shifting so gives a superb driving comfort.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is superb I drove 4000 km and very satisfied handling is also very good effortless driving in comparison with any other car in this segment.

Final Words Good to buy if average is not a big issue I am getting an average of 14-15 km/l with ac on so if you are satisfied with this average than best buy.

Areas of improvement No gear shift indicator present as was present in the earlier model. No audiable locking/unlocking so little improvement required. Fog lamps must be provided in Sportz model.

Good style user friendly controls comfortable to drive but fuel economy is not so goodLess spacious for the co driver

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its interior is best  in indian hatch backs & looks most expencive & stylist. much spacious for    5 passangers. it is a fully loaded hatch.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its engine is strongest and does'nt vibes a little. pick up is great and can touch 180. i hv driven it at over 170. i bought it on 23 feb 2012. mine has 5m gearbox. this i think that is worst thing from hyundai.  hyundai tells that both 5m & 6m has ARAI mileage of 21.93 but i am getting only 16 kmpl overall. best i got is 17.4 on highway in city it is 13- 14kmpl. avg is much lesser than ARAI. old swifts ARAI avg is 21.7 but i got fom my frd's 20.1. but all other experiences r great with this car. reply plz why i m getting less mileage. is it actual or i m getting less.

Ride Quality & Handling Both r great. Its ride is so smooth that u will feel that u r cutting butter with sharp knife.

Final Words Overall a good valuable hatch. it is fully overloaded with features.

Areas of improvement Ride below 2000rpm all brakes should be disk brakes.
