Hi, I bought Hyundai i10, 1.2 magna automatic in Feb 2009. I have completed 1500 kms. I was looking for a good compact car as my second car.  Earlier I bought Maruti Zen Estilo VXI ABS, but had to sell it off withing 4 months due to poor performance. Since I am using Mitsubishi Cedia since Dec 2006, it was very difficult to find the match in compact/small car segment, until I took a test drive of i10 1.2ltr.

I am pleased with the engine performance- absoulutely noise less and responsive, generates enough power at a reasonably low rpm (no need to push throttle padel to hard) and so the best fuel economy in its class. I got 12/13 kms in city and 16/17 kms on highways with automatic transmission. The quality of interior & exterior is at par with high end luxury cars. Smooth drive, Good control & feel safe even at 130/140kmph.

The only thing I noticed is weak front suspension system compared to other hyundai vehicle such as getz(used for 3 years) and Accent. The suspension system doesn't absorb shocks even while jumping on small patholes. The ride becomes bumpy on ruff roads with lots of noise from steering rack. Hyundai should have used similar shock absorders as in getz 2006 model. This only problem makes you feel like you are driving small car like maruti 800/zen/alto/santro etc.
