Exterior As far as exteriors are concerned it is a very good looking car in its segment. Nicely designed headlights and taillights catches everyones attention.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It is comfortable for the driver. Features are good, not very good as the price is very high. Leg space is very poor as far as the other cars in its segment are concerned. Boot space is also not enough to carry your baggages.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is very good, gearbox is very smooth. I am driving it for the past 10months. I think this is the smoothest car to drive in its segment. This is not a fuel efficient car, it gives 8 km/l in city conditions and a maximum of 11km/l in highways, I think the manufacturer should concentate on the power to weight ratio for a better mileage. They are promising 20.36km/l and it is not giving even the half of it. I am not happy with its mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is pretty good and handling is also smooth.
Final Words A nice car to drive but not spacious and fuel efficient.
Areas of improvement Leg Space and fuel economy.

Car Driving and Maintenance Experience.
Never regretted of buying this car until Honda Brio came now because all cars including Polo and Etios Liva in this segment except Swift are lower than i10 in performance. Since Brio was launched just now, I don’t have to regret because there was no Brio when I bought i10. Driving experience was very nice, since I don’t have great driving experience only 3k driving experience, I never felt that the car lacked stability, did feel that initial pick was less but it was because I maintained 2k to 3k rpm range to shift the gears as instructed in the manual.
Top Speed attempted was 140 wpm and never felt any vibrations or body roll whatsoever. Vehicle was steady. Always keep my speed in 80-110 range and did regret of doing that when Police caught me for breaking 80km/hr speed limit.
Climbing the hilly regions was bit difficult for this car. Car was breathing very hard, It was hardly moving in second and first gear. But let me tell you it was very high because people in that area do talk about the steep road in that area. Really wondered how can car which cruises 140km/hr on flat road struggled to climb high areas in 1 and 2nd gear. May be it’s the issue with all small cars. But the diesel engines like Qualis had not problems in climibing the same road with ease in 2nd gear where I was struggling in 1st gear.
Liked the interiors and the Dash Board and also dual trip meters, and also plastic quality of interiors is very nice. Boot space is also nice and 6 months of experience didn’t find any issues with the car. I travel very less only twice in weekends and car had not problem in starting all these 6 months. Never had problems with electronic steering wheel as written in blogs. Done 2700 km on the ODO and all I do is just put petrol and drive and nothing else and the free service which is 3rd awaiting in 6 months so.
About the mileage, since my vehicle is not run much I’m getting 11 kmpl with full A/C on in fully congested city traffic. And when I took it for a country side ride of 200 kms travel with full steep roads I got 18 kmpl with full A/C on. I think that’s pretty decent. So this is what i10 is all about, you’ll never regret when you buy it because it’s a no problem vehicle

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fair enough due to the centrally placed gears stick and console.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No power in my engine and hasnt been solved in 3 years. The engine stutters at low speeds the clutch plate assembly was replaced in the first service (after I shouted at tehm) but it si still bad On an average it gives me 7KPL to 10KPL in city drive a mechanic told me (confidentially) that one nozzle may not be alright but Engineers at Hyundai maintain that my car is fine.
Ride Quality & Handling Low speed stuttering and poor gear shift - heard this from atleast 2-3 more friends
Final Words Not worth the hype. Service and courtesy at Hyundai makes me think twice about bying another Hyundai car. I have had numerous telephonic asseeement pf my cars problem from some call center or the other but not one from Hyundai has ever given me a patient hearing.

Exterior is really nice. I like its front look. front grills are very attractive as compared to any other car in this segment, even much better than older i10.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior is always good of all hyundai cars except santro. Gives you rich feel when u come inside. Space is more than enough. From outside it looks compact but it has a very good space. Driving confort as well as comfort for all the passengers in long drives.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine performance is good. Fuel economy i got till date is around 12-13 km per litre. first servicing is still pending. As per hyundai, fuel economy will increase after 1/2 servicings. Gearbox is smoth like butter but sometimes gets trouble while shiftinmg to second. Not sure if this is a problem or I am a new driver so not shifting in proper way.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is very good. Feels a power machine. Handling is nice. Very good in city travelling. On highway also this car is performing good. Due to its size, it is very much confortable driving in city.

Really a nice car. I am proud of it. I studied all the cars in this segment before zeroing down to i10. i10 is the best car in its segment.
Areas of improvement
If fuel economy is improved then no one car can beat it. Fuel economy should be improved after 2nd servicing.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I bought a i10 Magna Kappa 2 in July 2011 from Superon Hyundai (Sohna Road). After a month there was a rattling sound coming from the engine. Superon Service Centre sent a mechanic to investigate and he came up with the conclusion that bad feul quality is leading to this sound. He said that this is a common complaint in BS 4 complaint vehicles as the technolgy is so supreme that its makes this sound with slightest impurity in feul. We chnaged several petrol pumps and after 2 services the sound persists. Local mechanics and other Hyundai service centres and friends having an i10 car say that this is unheard of. "It seems the car sold is defective."The Superon service station now after says that the car will have to be left for a week at the service station. They will open the engine and try to figure out !!!! Is'nt this unfair for a new car. I mean cars are driven for 1.5 Lac km and engines are not touched.
Dear vetran and experienced members please advise on what I should do. Also please be aware of SUPERON HYUNDAI GURGAON SOHNA ROAD. There service station is in any case pathetic.

Power steering, fuel economy, engine drag, should have music system Hyundai is selling great number of cars is but not improving fuel economy. Kappa 2 engine does nt deliver as much pick up as one would expect. Company does not give care after sales. I think there is manufacturing defect in power steering which needs to be looked into as a friend of mine also complained similarly and Hyundai officials are not accepting. I think recall all such cars and set right the steering which becomes harder as the speed goes up.

The product & Dealer - Himgiri Motors, Wazir pur Delhi - Both are pathetic. The product quality is poor. The stereo ( integrated) bought from Hyundai has been very repaired twice already in 15months. The paint quality is poor. The front wheel bearing have started giving noises. The car has done 11333 kms in Delhi the mileage is 10 kms / litre. The Dealer do not listen to any problem just want to change the oil and filter and charge for all repairs. The AC blower gives bad odour when AC is not on but blower is on.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have bought this car 5 months back. Ever since I bought this a persistent problem of the engine cutting off while changing gears has been observed with the clutch fully pressed. I have visited the show room for the same problem at least 5 times and it still is not resolved. After escalation to the Hyundai some sensor VTVT valve and plugs were replaced but still the problem persists. The problem happens randomly which puts the one at great risk while driving on the highway as the engine cuts off. Not sure if anyone has encountered a similiar problem. I am planning the sell of the car after 5 month what a waste of money.
Ride Quality & Handling Average. One of factory fitted tyres also gave with multiple ruptures.
Final Words Overall a bad package to buy i10. Would not reccommend against buying this car. I would recommend maruti even as they engine and gear box etc are much better.

Exterior It is having good height and ground clearance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are of top quality. The suspension is excellent for a small car.Space is adequate. The radio etc are of good quality. The seat is not very compfortable .The vision is slightly blocked by the thick side beams while taking left/right turn.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very smooth.The auto gear is really good. This is absolutely essential for ladies in a crowded Indian city.The handling of the gears is excellent.But the engine has less power and the pick-up is even less than Maruti 800.It fails quite appreciably while overtaking.Fuel economy is a bit worrisome.This is at the most 11 km/ltr or even less on A/c.

Final Words The automatic gear system is essential and the vehicle overall is very handy. A must for the ladies and the advantage is perceptible while manouvering through the crowded places.

I am having I10 Sportz for the past two years and compared to I10 Era the ride quality, ease of driving is smooth, speakers as part of car gives a great look and my friends are telling that I am looking as if in cockpit while driving. Blue back lighting and beige seats looking great.
Fuel economy is little bit on lower side when compared to other cars in this segment, I am getting 16KMPH in highways and around 12 KMPH in city driving.
So far I have not faced any problems with engine, gear box and service is also good.
The price first I felt it is higher but after driving pleasure i feel it is value for money. The area to be improved is to improve the fuel economy.
