I purchased a Hyundai Creta on 20/09/2015 from Sunrise Hyundai in my company's name "PEEJAY FINANCE COMPANY LIMITED". Firstly the purchase experience itself was horrible. Due to the waiting period on Creta, the dealer treated me as if i am asking the car for free. then comes the service issue: Since the very first day there has been a very bad smell that comes from the AC of the car at irregular intervals. I ignored the smell for a few days as I felt that it could be the smell of the new car and its plastics.I have tried to notice but there is no particular pattern of the time of that smell. The car has already gone to the workshop of Sunrise Hyundai 5 times for this problem. But the problem still remains the same and moreover it is their attitude which is even more shocking. They do not give a proper response also. ( For the first 3 visits they did not even listen to the problem correctly. On my 4th visit they asked me “ Sir, is the smell coming from the AC ?” I was shocked to hear such a question. My car went to their workshop on the 10th or 11th of February,2016 for the 4th time. Then also the problem remained the same. I went for a 1000 k.m. trip on the 14th and 15th February and informed Sunrise Hyundai that the problem still remains. After my car remained unused for 9 days they asked me to bring my car on 25th February. A team from Hyundai ( Mr. Deepak ) and 2 Korean gentlemen went on a test drive with me. I drove for about 45-50 minutes and they understood that there was a serious issue. My car remained at the workshop for 2 days and I took it back on 26th February. Next day I had to go to Punjab and I again felt the same problem. However this time the smell started coming after the car had covered a distance of more than 80-90 kilometers. Thereafter the smell came regularly as earlier. I immediately informed the service advisor at Sunrise Hyundai and he asked me when I would return from Punjab. I told him that I would return by Sunday evening that is on 28th February. He said that I will get a call on Monday 29/02/2016. I waited on the 29th Feb but did not get any response from him . Then I called him up thrice on 1/3/2016 and he said that he would consult GM Service Mr. M.P.Singh and call me back. However, no one contacted me. I called up Mr.M.P.Singh twice on 2/3/2016 Wednesday and he told me that he is in touch with Hyundai in this matter and would call me in ten minutes and asked me not to send mails of complaint. But his ten minutes are still not over after 5 more days. The staff at Sunrise is not bothered at all about their customer. It is not my duty to call them up each day and ask for a solution to my problem which is due to a fault in their product ? I am the one who is suffering due to Hyundai's sub standard product and they are not willing to listen to me. The enthusiasm of driving a new car has been totally spoiled. 5 times my car has gone to the workshop for 8-9 days in 5 months. Twice or thrice its dashboard has been opened and refitted. Noises from the dashboard come and the boot of the car and it feels as if I am driving a 5 year old car. This complaint of noise from the boot was also there at the time of the first service ( the noise was of a loose latch then. I do not know where is the noise coming from now ). I feel that I have made a mistake by buying Creta and I right now my feeling is that one should never buy a new product launched by Hyundai. The joy and excitement of using a new car has been completely shattered. I am tired of taking my brand new car to the workshop again and again. Now it seems that I would have to approach the consumer court to get my money back. A harassed customer
looks & styling are good. Rest is a waste of money.ac gives bad smell. already gone to workshop 5 times. noone willing to address the issue.
