The Honda City was always a favourite for the Indians from the start and it is totally worth it. The buying experience was good with total support from the staff. But the service center is not here at my locality. Honda should increase it's service network especially in the Southern States of India. Also, my car almost took one month for the boot to be replaced as it was damaged. The nearest service center officials told that the new boot should come from the North and that it'll take two weeks. So it was one month without the car.
Pros:
1. The City is an absolute head turner even though it's been years since the facelift. The car just looks fresh and stunning every time you see it. It's one of those cars which you would park and look at it back when you move far
2. The interior is typical Japanese treat and it is really good. The interior comes with enough features even though I have the base S variant.
3. Honda has given the City with proper split of features for all variants.
4. The reason I choose the Petrol versus the Diesel was because of the naturally aspirated iVTec engine. It's the best if you like driving and there's no other car that can drive like this car do.
5. The Ride and Handling is perfectly balanced than any other in the segment.
6. The rear seat has ample legroom and the seats are well cushioned for a comfortable long drive.
Cons:
1. The interior design is good but I wish that the fit and finish could've been better.
2. The car doesn't feel planted to the roads in the highway when cruising at high speeds.
3. The base variant S doesn't come with a rear AC vent. It's an important feature in a country like India.
4. The fuel economy is a concern because of the great performance. The fuel economy just dips to single digit figures when you floor the throttle. Drive sensibly, the City will return two digit mileage figures.
