Pardon me for my extreme fan boy energy, it do be like that sometimes. Jokes apart it's a very solid car, never broke down on us. My dad bought it in rains of 2008 when i was just 9 years old, fell in love with the car instantly as it was very popular back then. I used to hear my dad say this is a fast car and fast forward 8 years and he wasn't joking. The whole buying experience was really great, the staff was very helpful, they even suggested we get the civic but as it wasn't unveiled yet by dad had his doubts, but that's okay. The suspension is adjusted on a stiffer side so small bumps can be felt inside the cabin at low speeds but it gives advantage on highways, the handling is very supreme and sharp due to this. People call my variant "Dolphin model" so looks wise it's your normal generic honda city for those days, people loved the design as it was a bit sporty. It was powered by a 1500cc vtec petrol motor which gave around 100ps of power to the front wheels via a 5 speed manual. Trust me due to the light weight the car actually felt quite fast for a 100hp, fuel economy takes a hit in the cities with me just managing around 10kmpl but highway mileage is the best, even after 11 years this guy manages 18-20 which is mind boggling. Maintenance can get expensive if some parts break, normally I have changed the clutch pads, brake pads and numerous electronics including headlights but those weren't exactly expensive but clutch and brakes were. Pros: it's a really fun to drive car, because of the vtec it really pulls past 2000 rpm, is spacious enough with a big boot, engine is bullet proof (metaphorically)
Cons: parts can be hard to get sometimes, in city fuel economy can get worse than 10kmpl, if stuck in traffic congrats it's your leg day, and that's probably it, its a sweet ride, I still love it. Used examples can be grabbed for really low prices now and I think a good, well maintained example can be really good for a first time driver I can totally recommend. That's all from me folks, ciao!
