I have bought on month May 2014. Just after lunching diesel model it became 1.5 years and rur 50000 kms. Exterior is stylish but very light weight not good for sefty point of view. It gives milage 21-22 on highway is good enough but after 50000 kms the fule pump is gone damage which cost around 65000/-. One thing is confirm the mechanisim is not well tested before lunching the product in the market. I came to know the deisel pump are defective in honda city diesel. company saying they will not give any warranty though thr period dose not exceed but kms exceed beond 40000 kms. So you think can a car owner afford 60-70 thaousand before two years of riding. This is unjustice. This harassment for customer how can one spend Rs 70000/- after using few days. If company will give on warranty still then you think will the fuel pump work in long run ? I have owned and riding different cars from last 12 year according to me the fuel pump should run comfertable upto 2.5 lacs kms but in honda city it only run upto 40-50 thousand kms.

Decent perfomance. Good fuel effeciency. Gearbox is not so smooth. Shifting to first gear isn't smooth. Steering had clicking noise issue
Ride Quality & Handling
I have purchased this car in 2014 and driven 19000 km
Car cabin noise started within 10000 km itself. Steering started to make clicking noise while turning. This started at 15000 km
I also had issues like right side door panel rubber beeding coming out issue, Honda dealership fixed the issue however issue re occured again.Steering noise issue (Replaced by honda) however was not fixed properly after replacing the steering kit, i had to visit whitefiled honda(bangalore) thrice. Service personal seems to be in experienced. Steering became too tight and was making noise while turning. Visited dealership whitefiled honda and they have refixed steering. It has become smooth however My steering makes noise when turned slow.
Dash board is making sqeeky noise. At least five times i have shown it to whilefield honda bangalore. They are unable to fix it
Final Words
Honda has dropped built quality of honda city. Kept visiting service center, however unable get fix for problems.
Not sure if quality drop is due to make in india :)

Excellent Engine, and I have got upto 24 KMPL for 80 KMS distance driven for economy speed.
In high Speeds 100 it gives 19 KMPL with AC
In High Speed 110 to 130 it gives 17.5 KMPL
Ride Quality & Handling
Very good upto 110 KMPH, Crossing 110 car becomes shaky and unstable which should not be the case for City. I too own a 2011 3rd Generation where i have tested 178 KMPH with good stability.
Final Words
Veru Good Car and great mileage for the size
17.5 KMPL AC for range of 1080 KMS Hyderbad to Madurai with hi speed of 110 to 130 KMPH.

i read some reviews in this blog and i have't any problems related to my car .no problem in engine sound its qutie and no breaking of sun roof ,i drive my car about 25000 kms its still stable.no problem at this moment.i don't think honda cheated me. honda gave a good car to me.

the ground clearance is not suitable in kerala.in my car the water is not get in to the engine comaprtment and its too much problem but in big humbs it will got problem.

Final Words Honda cars India Ltd sells twenty yrs old technology SOHC engine based cars in India and throws the customers into oblivion. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Deptt. intimidates grieving customer of dire consequences if he approaches social media to expose company's inability to resolve the issue. Present CITY Petrol model emanates grinding noise from gear box, mileage of ten kmpl, ceasing of engine in minimal water logging to which technical staff has no answer. Pathetic after sales, rude and arrogant CRM officials, looting and cheating policy is all about HONDA in India. Honda India is looting Indians owing to past record. Now they have the worst after sales record. Arrogant n rude CRM officials add fuel to fire on customer's grievances. They are masters of falsely manipulating a faulty car as OK in the name of tempered tests reports. If your car is running well you are lucky. Once it develops faults HCIL will get you into hell n treat u as if u r a beggar.
Areas of improvement DOHC engine should be used. After sales.

Exterior Overall the exterior of the latest Honda City July 2016 gives me mixed feelings. The car is bold and edgy but design is not as purposeful as its immediate predecessor which had the arrow-shot look. Did not like the kinks on the side and the huge ugly chrome grille or the puny wheels with odd alloys.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is spacious and comfortable with wide seats especially back compared to Vento and Rapid and its low central tunnel on the floor. Did not like the dashboard design with too many flashy stuff and slab face. It is feature rich but the sound system lacks punch. Even Tata Bolt has a Harmann Kardon!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine manages to keep up but could have been better. That said, it manages to get a lot done. It does get a bit noisy at higher revs but not noticeably so. Fuel economy is good for its class. The gearbox is typical Honda. I still own the older "Dolphin" model and the shifts are just as precise and shortm, no effort. Neither notchy nor rubbery vague. Wonderful.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is decent but i feel its smaller tyres do let it down. though unsprung weight is less affording it a little grip, the other side is the still overpowered steering which makes cornering at high speeds a bit unsettling. Steering is not as pointy and weighted as a Feista.
Final Words Overall a decent or unsatisfying car depending on which price point you are at. One has to remember that Honda is trying to straddle two segments of sedans with this car, thus reducing the premiumness of the brand. But make no mistake, this is still a value for money car and satisfies all criteria whether it be looks, space, driveability and dependability. That is still a winning formula.
Areas of improvement The car has areas to improve upon like better steering feedback, stronger engines, larger tyres, better sounddamping, and finally, more purposeful looks! A few more brighter colour options wont hurt as well.

Exterior Although looks are a subject of one's personal choice, I fing this car very appealing and upmarket (although for some the EXTRA CHROME GRILL on front may seem to be overkill). Personally, I like the design of the car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent seats, Brilliant Audio system, lot of space even for rear passengers. The ICE system is one of the best in its class.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have done 3 trips exceeding 2200 Kms. CVT has been performing like a dream. I drive at speeds of 80-90 Kmph. With D mode, ECO mode and Cruise control ON with speeds at 80-90 Kmph, I have got the mileage ranging from 19.0 to 21.5 Kmpl on highways (While at JRR at Hyderabad I saw the mileage to be 22.1 Kmpl). In city traffic the mileage has been around 10.5 to 11.5Kmpl.
CVT is very very compfortable in bumper to bumper traffic.
Ride Quality & Handling Very stable and smooth even during cornering at high speeds.
Final Words Bought in October 2015and have already driven around 11000 Km. Just one word for it - AWESOME.

Exterior Killer looks, sporty design especially with the sproilers which I have put in my car
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seats are comfortable although a shade less than last to last generation City.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Hassle free ride in traffic or on highways. Although company claims less, have got upto 22kmpl on highways on cruise.
Final Words Have met with an accident also due to hit at back,the impact was such that I hit a car in front. Realised what pedestrian injury mitigation system is all about that these guys talk about. Human life is more precious than anything else.
This is the 3rd Honda City I own but hats off to the car...has never let me down. Maintainance is cheaper than a M 800 although the perception is otherwise in the consumers. Accidental jobs are costly, however one needs to mitigate the risk through a zero depreciation policy and you get peace throughout.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The ineteiror lining on the roof is not adquate that transmits the sound heavily during simple rains of Chennai even. The inside RVM vibrates all the time, making it difficult to view the rear as you will see multiple images and get headache, the engine noise pad on the front bonner always hangs down from the engine area. cost cutting made no lining for interior boot cover.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 23kms per litre of diesel on highway at 80kmph.
