Cramped New Fiesta 2011

 

Exterior The trade mark of success of the old Fiesta has been removed!. I am not what is the reason. It may be done to accomodate the new platform. But the gracious look has gone. Indian customers will no longer have the feel good factor about Fiestas. It becomes another car with lots of features. Fluidic Verna will definitely give a good fight as the price of Verna is much lower.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The dash board is really good. Space is a constraint. Spending 12 lac and more to get a cramped space plus features is something families cannot afford. Lots of features such as Voice control,  blue tooth and DVD player are present. Might be an attraction to small families.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Not test driven. But going by the fiesta tradition, this section should not have any issues.

Ride Quality & Handling Not test driven. Riding on bumps needs to be checked with full load.

Final Words Not worth the money spent.

Areas of improvement If the same design of fiesta is maintained with these new features, then it would be great.
