Major manufacturing defects in 1.5TDCI Engine

Exterior Looks good , that may be the reson I bought the car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Average, needs a lot of improvement.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox My cars engine failed  after running 2900km9ie 400km after first free service). It is in ford service centre for the last 1 week, I do not know when I will get it back. It took 3 days to identify the problem. malfuncting of the throttle unit...the service advicer said it may take more than 1 week for the replacement...wonderful?

Ride Quality & Handling Lot of running sounds, sound proofing of the cabin is not good, some what loosing control in curves.

Final Words Not worth for the money invested, the only mini suv under 10lakhs at present..its demand will decline when other competative bands come.

Areas of improvement Ford should improve the manufactering standards. Capability of its technitions in service centers to identify problems, must be more customer friendly. reduce the time needed for the replacement of parts.

Ford should arrange the coustomer an alternate vehicle in such situations- I do not have any vehicle for the last 1 week bacause of the faulty vehicle.
