King of the hatchback segment

Exterior

 Exterior look is great with strong body quality.While checking the car in showroom I was unable to close the door as it was much heavier than any other hatchback.Car is a head turner on road nodoubt.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interior quality is good quality though I would rate i20 and Swift have bit better interior than my punto.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

This is a best performer in diesel hatch segment.Gearbox is not that smooth as a Honda Brio/Maruti Swift but still its better.Sometime I was unable to engage it in 3rd gear but no problem we can move to neutral and shift again.FE I am getting is 15km/l mixed city and highway drive with AC on all the time.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality and handling are the best in the segment.You can not feel you are crusing at 140km/h on highway unless you see your speedo.Highspeed stability is excellent.

Final Words

 Punto is the best hatchback in India so far but the only problem is with service.If FIAT can improve the service like Honda/Ford may not like maruti/hyundai after a year this will be seen as the best selling hatchback in our country.
