Exterior Stylist look, feels like a sedan car from front. Muscular and very edge.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice fabric and very spacious. Good head room and leg room. I am 6' 2" and I can easily get into car and come out of it. Even when I am at driver seat there is ample of space for person sitting in the back.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very smooth, As of now my car has run around 2000 KM, mostly in city during past 4 months since I purchased it and undergone 1st free servicing and is having a Fuel economy of 10.5 kmpl. Again Gear Box is smooth and effortless. As it has Hydraulically actuated power stearing, handling the car in city is a little bit tough. But on highway the same add a positive point and keeps the car stable and gives you confidence.
Ride Quality & Handling I tested my car at a speed of 130 kmpl on highway road it has veer nominal vibration, it was neither wobbling nor it was giving an impression that it was leaving the road. It was stick to the road. And you can easily maneuver the car while overtaking other cars.
Final Words Value of money, if someone is not worried about mileage then this car is best in its class.
Areas of improvement Plastic used are bit inferior.
Very comfortable and spacious, Good AC, Nice road grip and smooth pickup.Boot window a bit small, slight noise in rear wheel when going into bumpy roads, low Plastic fibers.

Exterior Looks awsome, paint finishing is too bad compare to Polo and Beat, Pathetic reverse Light, can find lots of small scrathes due to lak of proper clear coat paint.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is Ok As I am having 90 BHP I use to clean it once in a week with 3m plastic polish, sterio is good but again lak of USB port, there is one port u can find in ur dashboard but dont know for what.. must tight the seat in every one month else it will make crimping sound. awsome seating position I drove 680KM in a day, Max speed was 194Km/H elevated highway Silkboard to Electronic city, awsome controll, very good handling.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox : No need to explain about engine 10 lac engine they've made by 2008, too good power, Gear is Ok , Good stearing best in this class, I use to overtake everybody by 5th gear only, awsome Turbo u can feel it on second gear.... from bangalore to sultan bathery 283 KM, it took only 16.3ltr it was when my car was done only 1000 km, after 1st service it wil again increse, Milage ,Gear, Performance No other oponents. Bcoz My friend is having i 2O ASTA CRDI, he himself he admitted that thogh it is having 1 gear extrai 20 is nothing infront of punto. i 20 is coming with some vanity options like internally foldable mirror etc. and see the tyre what a look. graet road grip.
Ride Quality & Handling Awsome in this segment and I can say even its better than Big car like accent and verna, ford ikon and all.
Final Words Fiat should come out with its own outlet same tiome be with TATA also, and come out with new models, Ur giving everything to Brazil, then y cant u concentrate in INDIA.
Areas of improvement Spareparts cost eg: last year front fog lamp's cost was 1200rs for pair now it is 1480 for one, and try to come out from TATA's tag.

Exterior Admiration guaranteed. Dropdead gorgeous. Whether you own any premium color or Red or White.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Blue & Me - a very well thought feature. Decent space for rear seat passengers. 2 Persons can seat comfortably. More than 2 not recommended for long drives. Driver seat / Steering height can be adjusted for better visibility and comfort. ACC really cools the interiors in minutes even when the sun burns right above its head. Spacious Boot and collapsible rear seats for more space. I was able to fit a washing machine and a Schwinn bicycle in it :). You can't dream of doing this in any available hatchbacks / sedans.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good fuel economy (14.5 kmpl - City) and (18 Kmpl - Highway) definitely a good VFM, Amazingly crafted VGT engine. This engine has won innumerable awards all over the world. Im not an expert to comment about gear ratios in Punto. Although i was happy cos i didnt have to shift the gears quite frequently even in the city traffic.
Ride Quality & Handlin Amazingly stable and best handling amongst present hatchbacks in India.

Areas of improvement
1. A.S.S still continues to be a concern. FIAT guys you have a great product. A good A.S.S can do wonders for FIAT India / Global.
2. No cup holders in the doors.
3. Bland dashboard (the Punto EVO version presently in Europe has more stylish dashboard).

Fiat Punto has a best design with good quality of metal and build quality.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is amazing i bought fiat punto active 1.3 on 30 august 2011 from pune. Before first service i drove my vehicle on bombay puna expressway I got mileage of 22.9 per litre which is equal to swift DDiS. fiat Punto has best feature of mileage calculator in its basic variant.
Tilt steering is also high end function which is available in basic variant. This car is more comfortable on bad road than Maruti swift. Fiat punto has more pick up than maruti swift. this is best vehicle in class and value for money. Ride quality is best while crusing on 150 km/h grip is more steady than Maruti Swift. I would like to disclose one thing DDiS engine is manufactured by the FIAT Group. 1.3 DDiS. So blindely purchase Fiat vehicle which is really worth and look attractive.

Exterior Needless to say, Punto is probably the hottest looking hatchback today, if you dont like the looks of Punto, I would be surprised ! Looks very stable, gives you a rugged feeling.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Emotion Pk features - Blue-n-me, Airbags, ABS, Auto AC are very good. Blue-n-me with steering controls is very very helpful. The space is something which can be improved. The rear leg room is a concern especially if the driver is 6 feet tall - like me. The seats, though are very comfortable. The AC is also pretty good. The interiors, although not bad, could have been better. The car is very easy to adapt to, geometrically.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is pretty quiet and smooth for a diesel car at rpm < 2500. As soon as you cross 2500-3000 rpm, the engine makes its presence felt, although its not very loud. The sweet spot is 1500-2000 rpm - 1750 rpm to be precise. The 1st and 2nd gear is disappointing, but the 3-5th gears makes up for it. The car has power for when you want it. The gear box was a little stiff to start with, but has freed up with the running of the car. For me, it gives an economy of around 14-15 kmpl in city and around 19kmpl on highway - full at AC 24 degrees. Please note that i am yet to go through the 1st servicing, so it should increase by at least 1-2kmpl.
Ride Quality & Handling This is the best part about this car. I pushed the car to 150km/hr and believe me, i could not feel it inside. The car is very very stable. Handling is very good. Steering is also nice - not to heavy, not to smooth. The thing which i love about this car - taking fast turns. For e.g. Especially on the Mumbai-Pune expressway, near Lonavala, even if you take the speedy curves at 100-120km/hr the car maintains the centre of gravity and you dont incline from one side to other on the turns. Those who agree with me, please comment after you have tried.
Final Words Definitely woth buying. The service network and approach of the TATA-FIAT is definitely improving. I am getting a good after sales service from Concorde Motors - Hyderabad.
Areas of improvement The factory fitted speakers are pathetic, The USB media player has control ONLY on the steering and not on the head unit. The tilt steering is a waste as its lowest height itself is so high that you have no scope for adjustment. The seat height adjustment could have been much better.
The front row seats are very very thick - which is a dis-advantage for rear passengers, although the front people might find it very good. The overall finishing of the product.
You wont get these glitches with a Honda or a Toyota maybe: The foot rest plastic was little lose at the time of the delivery. There was a very small scratch at the time of the delivery - which was not visible easily though. The showroom person accepted his mistake and assured me that he would get it rectified at the time of service.

Exterior Awesome, catchy looks. No car in the segment has such an aerodynamic design.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features: Excellent Vis-a-vis the other options in the cost range/segment, especially the ABS availability, steering and driver seat height adjustment, boot with lamp, cabin lamp selection specially for co-driver, Electrical ORVM, Rear Wiper. Excellent Feature Package.
Space: Front seat OK, rear sit cramped ( Good for ladies and kids only < 5.4 feet), Excellent boot space, pehaps the largest in the category.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance: Excellent power of 76 HP in 1.3 Litre (better than many 1.4 litre with lower power), peppy engine and good low end torque for city driving. Turbo lag is very low, especially as compared to SWIFT/VISTA/i20 Diesel variant
Lower engine noise(inside cab) compared to SWIFT/VISTA/i20/POLO Diesel variants
I drive 50 km dailiy and fetched consistently between 5.1 litre/100 km to 5.4 litre/100 km. I driver at 60 to 80 km/h. My drive is 40 % city and 60 % highway.
Ride Quality & Handling This is the execellent amongst compared to SWIFT/VISTA/i20/POLO Diesel variants. No rolling of the vehicle at high spees turns. This vehicle is heavier than competitors by 100 kg, it brings the a lot drive stability in the vehicle and also safety. This is the only vehicle with 5 start Euro NCAP(New Car assessment Program) rating. You drive it and feel studdy. Excellently tuned suspension for Indian roads, neither too soft and too hard. potholes/low pitch speed brakers felt mutedly unlike competitor thuds.
Braking : Smooth and with bite. Dramatically improves the vehicle control feel.
Final Words I used the SWIFT VDi for 3 years(~ 60000 km) and sold it to buy PUNTO 1.3. let me tell you that this is the poorly marketed vehicle. I drover it for 3000 km till now. Leaving the rear leg room aside, it has not a single con's as cost vs features.
This vehicle being heavier than competitors is very safe which I alcked in SWIFT a lot. This also makes it 1.5 kmpl lower than SWIFT, but I went for safety and ride/handling dramtically excellent with low enigne noise.
Areas of improvement Come out of JK TORNADO series. It is potent to get puctured frequently. I had the same in SWIFT and same feeling.
Rear leg room could have been bigger. here are some ways with which, I tested vehicles ( This is purely subjective). Ride Quality & Handling After 1 year I found that braking system of car is not perfect. When I am driving car in jam like situation and applying brakes frequently and cluth, the brake pressure failed resulting cannot apply brake. In this regard I wrote to the Fiat Company and a very irresponsible response I got from Company, they told me that the cylinder is like this and you have to adjust the drive\ing accordingly. It means company is failed to improve this system and requesting consumer to manage with this system. How can we drive in Jam like Situation and it may definitely hit another vehicle while brakes not working.
Final Words Company is not listining customers' request even so many mails and telephone calls.
Areas of improvement Customer Care should be powerful and needs improvement in vehicle. If the customer is complaining about any system of car and facing problems the company should look into the matter very seriously.

Exterior Fabulous CAAAAAR with eye catching looks. One look at the Punto will assure you that Italians are indeed great at design. Well, Fiat owns Ferrari and Maserati, easy to understand once you look at the Grande Punto’s look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Amazing interiors with special features of aux, usb and climate contoller is very good. Punto is also very well equipped. This variant comes with voice-activated Bluetooth pairing for your phone, ABS and twin airbags. The information display informs you of cabin temperature and fuel consumption.The steering wheel is great to hold and even the gear lever has a sporty feel. The car, however, does have a largish boot that measures 280 litres, plenty of space for a car in this class.

Final Words After a long drive of 750 km, when I came out the car, I said " I can drive much more. I dont want any break." Excellent in ride and hanling with very efficient fuel economy. VALUE FOR MONEY.

can drive with great comfort if you are more than 5.11,good legspace,comfortable in drive i drived it more than 500km,at onestrach,less noise in cabin than any other car of this segment,I have driven swift,figo,i-20,but it is really a VFM,infact i would recommend to go for this instead of much talked swit,a person having more than 5.7higt can"t even enter in swift easily,don"t think just go and get it,once you drive it you will never go for anyone else,just go and take a test drive.experiance the real difference.

Exterior Wonderful is the only word I can say. When I see first punto on road some time back then only I decided if i buy a car that would be punto. Extreme italian design and marvellous in any angle. I can say it is the most stunned hatch in india. Pefectly designed for indian roads now with more GC.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The driving seat itself distinguehses punto from others. I tried Swift,Ritz,dZire,Fabia and no one matched it.Extreme comfort. Rear space is I feel is optimum though i dint like Vista or caaaar kinda of space. Much better than Polo,swift,ritz and much more comfort. Blue and me is the feature now all the sedans and muvs start implementing.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Though I am novice @ driving and the car is of big size ( in car specifications it is mentiioned as sedan :)) it never induced any fear in me besides made me much more comfortable and made my learning expeircen wonderful.Steering resp is awesome . Gear shift initially was bit tough and now after one or two trips became normal.FE at start showing 15-16 and I can see it is increasing trip by trip. Nothing to say on engine as most of the market leaders heavily relying on it.
Ride Quality & Handling Awesome and the bad roads will not distrub your ride as most of them filtered. And Handling is good and road grip is excellent. Steering holds solif even at speed of 100KMPH and gives a solid feeling.
Final Words I dreamt of buying it . But compared with all leading models like Swift, vista, fabia and polo (hatch only) and made my mind to go with my heart.My brother who kept coming with new options also finally settled with it and now he also enjoying with.
From the bottom of the heart Punto is much better car than any car in the hatch segment. It needs only shading of the bad image on it and sharing of a word.
