Exterior
The side view is a awesome. Overall car look is good. It is nice heavy and sturdy cars for the indian roads. But the poor thing is that it has low ground clearance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
My car 2 features are excellant. It shows instantaneous fuel consumption, by the help of it you can manage your fuel consumption and improve car's average. Boot space and leg room are very good. AC cooling is not upto the mark when car is heated in summer at 40 C. Overall car gives you good comfort for long drive.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Shifting gears is very smooth. And fuel economy is also fentastic. It easily gives 18 km/l at 50-80 kmph speed. Engine sounds very good. But it shows awesome performance beyond 3000 rpm. Till 2000 rpm engine is sluggish.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is good and it is easy to handling the car.
Final Words
Overall linea is fentastic package form fiat.

Features are of superb standards, the rear leg room space could have been a little more extended, very comfortable in overall terms.

Final Words I have booked a linea dynamic 1.4L and since 1 month i havent been delivered the vehicle. Was promised the vehicle will be delivered in 23 days. Recieved the vehicle after 50 days
Areas of improvement Requested to improve the customer relations and to have transparency in dealer customer interactions. Further the delivery time also can be intimated corrrectly at the time of booking to avoid dissatisfaction of customers.

Hi, I am samik from kolkata. I bought Fiat Linea Dynamic 1.4 petrol on 27th July 2010. in last 7 and ahalf months I drove this beauty for 12500 km and had my 1st service only. I was floored by it's fantastic design and stylist look before i bought it. it is really an eye stoppr. may be to keep it,s weight less it's body is not that sturdy. but everybody knows that a beauty needs more care.
Interior is good, plastics could be better still. ac was ok but in summer it needed a boost. BUT in the last month only i got an sms mentioning my car reg no, it said that Fiat asks me to bring my car to the nearest service center to upgrade the ac for free. i called KB Motors, got an appointment after 10 days. now i am driving my love with an upgraded ac and i'm very happy. mostly i set the fan speed to 1 and HVAC to med cool. at the noon only i useto set it to coolest. the fun part is in elsewhere, after ac upgrade and ECS flash, aparently the power below 1700 RPM increased distinctly where there was some disappointment before. cabin noise reduced and the car became more lovable.
Engine Performance is good. it roars like a tiger when you push the race over 20000rpm. after ac upgrade i don't feel any power lag (it's a family sedan not a racing car). i pushed it upto 146kmph on NH2 had good fun, after that i was a bit nervous because of it's huge momentum. but it was easy to handle and controllable at that speed also. it's steering feels same in 20kmph to 146kmph. Fuel Economy means lower consumption, i previously had a santro... so i had no expectation from this linea. afterall beauties are expensive... people say. i get 11.5 to 12kmpl in city with ac on and i got upto 15.1kmpl on the highway without ac and 14.5kmpl with ac on. so friends? Gearbox is smooth but the clutch pedal is very high and very strainuous for city driving.
Ride Quality & Handling Fantastic. this huge car manuevers like silk.
Final Words Buy it or not you will love it. service interval is 15000km. FIAT has guts. BTW huge boot space is an added advantgae i forgot mention.
Areas of improvement Clearance. interior plastic quality. esternal black lamination, cabin noise should be less.

I like the exterior of the car. The car is beautiful and has a solid road presence. Its a beauty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Good for the price and what is otherwise available among the entry-level sedans in India. Its so much better than what is offered by Etios. Ther seat structure, adjustment features, 2-tone styling, door furnishing, etc gives it a rich look.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine performance is fine. The gear movement has minor issues and has been raised by many on tis form as well.
THE FUEL EFFICIENCY SUCKS AND NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET MORE THAN 8.5 KMPL FROM THIS CAR IN THE CITY..... MY FORD IKON USED TO GIVE ME 13 KMPL UNDER SAME CONDITIONS.... THIS CAR IS A DISASTER FROM FUEL ECONOMY PERSPECTIVE. May be this is ehy the car fetched a very low resale price in the market.
The servicing is expensive and frankly doesn't stop any of the recurring problems. Rs 30,000 per year is the minimum expense on this car's servicing, assuming no accidents and no part damages.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is good and the handling is good as well. I have tried this car at 130 km plus speed and must say that i felt more comfortable in a zen and a Ford Ikon at those speeds...but these are exceptional speeds. for anything under 100km speed, this is a good car with good control.
Final Words
If you are happy to pay Rs 8 per km as the fuel cost over next 2-3 years and also happy to take 50% plus hit on resale valus of the care over 2-3 years, you are the guy for this car. Given a choice now, I will not buy this car at full price. This is a good pre-owned car as the purchase cost is so low for a second-hand Fiat Linea.

Exterior The flow of the lines of the car are amazing nothing seems out of sync.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) For the price good interiors, plastics are sturdy.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quiet, to start is slow but once on the move is able to pick up speed and slow down easily, on highways can drive in 5th gear without much downchanges, even at 1500 rpm picks up. But in the city do need frequent gear changes. Getting on highway 16 kmpl and city 11 kmpl with ac.
Ride Quality & Handling Good is able to handle most bumps on the road, even on narrow ghat roads feel confident about the car.
Final Words Service is friendly and TATA seems to be getting it right.
Areas of improvement power at lower end needs to be better, needs a better PR campaign, it has a bad name despite being a good car.
