Pros .
Stunning looks
Superb interiors (however finish could have been a little better)
Good music system and keys are superb and easily reachable.
Blue & Me. (amazing feature)
Gear ratios are good for city drive. (Thanks for its torque)
Amazing boot space.
Cons
The car yells at you when you push the accelerator.
Suspension is like riding a go cart. It is superb hard.
Drive is not something you would enjoy. Drive is not smooth how ever you would not feel the Turbo lag. The engine is sluggish and I think power to weight ratio is pretty bad.
Vehicle showed some positive signs in 4th and 5th gear.
Space. - Very bad head room and visibility for a person of my height.
Telescopic steering along with tilt would be welcome to get rid of awkward seating position.
Car had fuel average of 9.2 KM on display. We can presume it would deliver around 10-11 Km in Bangalore traffic with better driving conditions.
Rear arm rest is too short to comfortable rest you arm.
I would rate 5 out of ten for this car and 9 out of 10 for Honda city and 6 for SX4

Exterior Hello I am navjot purchase new lenia diesal top model 3 months back alraedy run 7000 km so able to give my opinion, No doubt best looking car available till 07-07-2011 just after launch of fluidic we can comare these two otherwise in this price range diesal version you only choice, chevrolet exopecive look old granny, fiesta give feel of money minded person on road, but lenia looks that you are driving car worth rs 15 lac.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious interior, boot space is large you can even sleep in it, balack ,, cream interior looks nice by adding available good wooden kit which give you feel of rich interior by spending only rs 1000/- its available in auto market. feature like blue and me you can get all your phone book on car screen you can dail a number from stering or even from voice comand car will read your message in your language also these feature not even available in mersz S class what else you want in 8.5 lak.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Suspension and handeling of car is superb i have SX 4 and usally drive hondat city of my friend its handeling is 200% better that these two . you can not even judge 1 feet hole on road suspension is toooooo gooooood, but pick up in 1st and 2nd gear is toooo pooor not even matching with indica but driving on high and if your are driving 40 -60 speed in city you will not feel this issue as no need to change gear frequently on 40 u can easily use 5th gear.

Areas of improvement Name of fiat in india and pick up in 1st and 2nd gear that is the only two points which are not favourable.

Exterior The looks of this lady Kills, you have a MB, BMW does not matter. The guys at Fiat Style Centre have done an Amazing Job and have really carved the beauty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The car's interiors are very good, it was probably the first car i saw with Front armrests in 8-9 L category during Dec'09 -Jan'10, this is when i took my car. The Climatronic on this is amazing, atleast keeps me cool because i drive to and from work. The rear headrest space could have been handled better, especially the persons sitting near the rear doors feel a bit cramped for head room.I would have loved to see a touch screen with navigation and 8 speakers on her. The audio system by any means is good but I would have loved a Navi on it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine could have been better in terms of pace but otherwise this is a SMART car. The car gives you a FE of about 13-15 KMPL in city and anywhere close to 17-25 KMPL in highways. 17 KMPL if I drive the car anywhere close to 150 + KMS, 25 KMPL if my Dad drives the car anywhere between 80 + KMPL.
Ride Quality & Handling The Ride on this beauty is amazing, I have taken her to most parts of south india, for Highway roads and Potholes she has taken them with great ease. Although FIAT could have increased the ground clearence.
Final Words After 20000 + KMS on a single year, I still have not started going around this beauty a lot, hope to go places un habited with her.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its excellent for a small family like me, good spacious interior really good boot space. What else.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its one of the greatest thing that I seen with in this class, i have a diesel linea and i use this extensively from bangalore to kerala travel, believe me i ride around 30k km during this last 1 & 1/2 yrs, its engine is top notch and it gives really good milage if you ride at 80 ~ 100 range(around 1800 to 2000 rpm), even at 160 it gives around 20kmpl, 15k service interval and it wont cost you much (around 5k) what else you need? and it got a really good AC too.
Ride Quality & Handling Its superb i can say, my kerala house is in western ghats (idukki) so taking all hairpins with this beauty is very easy, i can say you wont get this experiance with any other car in this range, on highway its diffcult to beat this beauty even laura corolla finds it very difficult (if i am on the seat ..no way ;)
Final Words No need to look further, go for the diesel one, take my word and you wont regret i think.
Areas of improvement At this price. it gives me the best value for the money that i spend, I can compare with merc and tell so many places of improvements, but the price what i paid and value that i am getting is need to consider rather than it should have this. that etc.

I am driving this beauty (self driven) for the last 2 years and 8 months (yes, 2 monsoons done in Mumbai). I am consistently getting 16.4 KMPL in my daily driving of 40 KMs (18 KM highway, rest all crawling traffic)from this mammothly big car with amazingly tiny diesel engine. Still I am not abale to figure out how this small engine powers this car effortlessly, even to a spped of 175 KMPH!!. At 100KM speed, the car even returned 23.4 KMPL on Pune-Mumbai express way.
Only concern I had beore buying this car was service by Tata Motors... but believe me the experience was not bad at all ans the car seldom needed going to the service sation.
I would love to upgrade to a Fiat MUV with 3 rows of seats if available. Fiat Freemont is an amazingly wonderful car but would be too expensive as a CBU. If they indegenise this model without compromising on any feature but modifying the ground clearance for Indian roads, this can be a great success.

Nothing actually, the poor ground clearance is already corrected in 2012 version.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good but fuel economy is not good.
Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable, but the low GC is a pain, and then to increase the GC you need to pay. well I think FIAT been sleeping or they just thought lets charge extra for GC if they agree well and good and if not we will see. buth the problem of GC is so big nobody just asked anything and went ahead. FAIL you should provide the GC kit FOC as its your fault to introduce a car with such low GC for indian road. You know this is right that is why you changed the GC in the new version.
Final Words I bought the car because FIAT had tie-uo with TATA and so had many service centres, but probably FIAL was sleeping over the issue. They new very well that tie-up is going to end and then what nothing they just slept over now in Delhi there are only 02 service centres and that two in the 02 extreme conrers of delhi One is pathetic, so now go to other which is 35 kms away. My suggestion DON'T BUY FIAT CAR TILL THEY OPEN MORE SERVICE CENTRES, YOU HAVE BETTER OPTIONS WITH OTHER COMPANIES WHO VALUE YOUR MONEY.
Areas of improvement FIAL you have to own up the responsibility of the low GC and now must offer it FOC or atleast own 50% of the respnisibility as we made a decision to buy this car. Secondly. Open service centre at once and till then no should not sell any more cars.

Exterior Super build quality, Heavily built door. Awesome exteriors. Just add a spoiler and it enhances the beauty 3 folds.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good seating comfort for both driver and passengers. Good legroom for both driver and passengers and best in the class. Lacks utility spaces like cup or bottle holders,Glove box/door utility space inadequte.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Superbbbb. Yes it might be slow to start but once it reaches 2000rpm you r the boss.
Ride Quality & Handling Marvaloeus, If somebody says its not good at High speed then they havent driven it at high speed and the control at that speed is just mind blowing.
Final Words If you afford 10lakhs and wannna get everything in a car this is the car for you.. but check for the parking space that you have because this car is really huge(bigger than Verna, Civic, Rapid, Vento and Sunny. The Car I was waiting for Go for it.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Ok except for handle which came off as soon as i bought car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Poor pickup- rpm has to be high for turbo to kick in, low engine vibration(good point), pathetic on mediun gutters- suspension was designed for racing roads. Which is far from the case with indian roads.
Fuel economy -11 kmpl when i bought - now 15- far below the 20.4 as advertised
I have developed chronic shoulder pain - changing gears.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling is near perfect, but suspension spoils the comfort.
Final Words As an advise from a not so proud owner of fiat linea diesel emotion pack to every self respecting indian --- do not waste your well earned money for such a piece of dirt.
Areas of improvement Please either deal fiat by yourself, or stop your dealership in india with tata motors. My car got broke down 1 month back. its given in in service center, kannur(for 1 month).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Execptional to say against fiat technology, from the makes of ferrari and meserati Mjet is a very commonly used engine in various county around the globe, here in india mjet engine excell on india road with quality performance and greater durability. Fiat linea comes with 1.3 L/1298cc and 90bhp engine which is a well know engine for greater fuel economy same engine used by various car makes in india so there is no issue regards to that ,gear box is also very well synconized and hole drive train is so perfectly tune that is give sheer pleasure to drive with very minimum sound and vibration.
Ride Quality & Handling Execllent ride quality the body chassis and suspention so engg. well that there is no body roll and discomfort at all. a very mature handling experince gives linea in its class very confindent in tight corners, high speed. Streering is very responsive absoulty no variation in low and high speeds. suspension are very well fitted that enhance ride quality here fiat re-engg. his suspention system before putting linea on india roads that make it a very confident ride in any condition.
Final Word A car is apart form its class best quality ride and feature and eronomic interiors and the looks make it a true dream car in its segment.
Areas of improvement Fiat have to take india makert more seriouly just by producing good car is not good .Fiat have to focus on sales and after sales alone.

Exterior Good looks with strong body.The contours look awesome like a sexy lady.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quite good no issues except plastic quality to a small extrend.The inofrmation system on fuuel etc is accuraate and help in acheving better FE.The car is quite spacious for 5 peopel.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is awesome with good power in the class.The FE is 13-14 in congested Bombay trafiic and 19-21 on highway. The Gear box is any day better than the competitors with soft clutch.
Ride Quality & Handling Great no doubt about it. The steering is really reposive and the Suspension doenst let u feel the road and potholes
Final Words The car is great as am using it since last 3 years and driven 80000 Kms with no issues at all.
Areas of improvement The area was only service but I think is really iimproved now after Fiat opened it own SC. I think that is the issue faced by Fiat owners and Fiat is taken care of it.
