Exterior The exterior is fantastic and looks pretty elegant. This car is no doubt an entry level sedan but so far styling is concerned, it is nowhere compromised.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is pretty smart and spacious. Gave me the feeling of a premium sedan. Now, please don't expect the feel of a Cruze in Sail. With the pricing, you'd get enough comfort, leg space, head space and boot space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Too early to quote on the Mileage but preformance of 1.2 engine can't be that great. It's manageable though.
Ride Quality & Handling I did a test drive of this machine and found the whole handling part pretty nice and comfy.
Final Words When I was planning to buy a sedan, I had a budget of 6-7 lacs. There were two cars on my mind- Swift DZire and Chevy Sail. Swift is a proven car but it is so common that it doesn't feel so special anymore. It's very common on road. Again with the DZire Tour version, I was afraid that soon it might become a cablike Indica. Also, the styling doesn't appeal me much (people may have different perception on this). Chevy Sail on the other hand, has got absolutely different looks. Quite conventional yet different. Again, the chevy logo wins the race above Suzuki logo at the front.
Areas of improvement I just wished the steering was a multi function steering. And 1.3 ltr engine would have made it a clear cut winner in this segment.
MOST IMPORTANT: I booked a 1.2 LS ABS two weeks back and the dealer is telling me that the waiting period is over 1 month. He hasn't sold any petrol car as of now and diesel car can be deliver within 1-2 weeks. He also tells me that not a single Petrol Sail has been delivered in entire Andhra Pradesh until now. WTF?
