Exterior
Great & Sturdy. (Guess what last month I was hit by a private but in the rear with a bang!!. I thought its over and I had to shell out 25k or so; but when I got down, I noticed nothing happened, except a little peel of paint. (later at home noticed a very small un noticible dent). I think the car is very well designed to take care of situations that are unavoidable on city roads.
Love the PEPS (Pasive Entry & Passive Start) system... and simple touch lock.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The interiors (mine is LTZ) look trendy and great. Pretty good leather seats, cool sunroof, great electronic display, awesome 6-CD audio with Aux support (no USB though). What is very interesting is rain sensing wipers (that I came to know when suddenly the wipers started on theor own). More than any thing else, the front panel gives you a feeling that you are in a cockpit (no other car has such awsome panels and styling).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine performance is great, Fuel Economy is onpar and exceeds their ad rating. I think the clutch though is little tough, but it could be because of Diesel version?
Ride Quality & Handling
Excellent on highways, but in small lanes & bumper to bumoer traffic feel like AT is better.
Final Words
For sure, GM came with the right car in the segment; and CRUZE for sure is a great buy than its competitor in the segment (Laura or Civic or Altis - I ranked these in order before purchasing).
Areas of improvement
Add boot open switch inside the car, rather than use it from the remote control.
Great Style, looks, good FE and Strong bodymay feel like rear space is less (but the CRUZE is not a taxi, it is like a Sporty looking car)
