      Exterior Beat has such a catchy look. I have a Sandrift Grey Beat PS & everybody likes its looks. People look up to you when you are waiting at a traffic signal. Design is best-in-class. Body is made up of good quality fibre & is not as lightweight as in Hyundai Eon or Maruti Alto 800. Chevrolet has always believed in quality & I trust its belief.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dashboard looks very decent & sporty at the same time. No cheap quality plastics, no badly designed AC knobs. Everything seems to be perfect.  The Tachometer Console is one of the best attributes & looks really great. Rear is not cramped like in Volkswagen Polo or Hyundai Eon. Enough of leg space. The car can easily accomodate 5 people. Boot space is a bit less but can easily acomodate 2 mid-sized travel bags (at the least).

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very responsive & provides a power of 79 BHP which is the best in its Price Segment. Ford Figo, Hyundai i10 etc. don't stand anywhere (as far as petrol variants are concerned). The car yields around 15Kmpl in city & goes up to 18Kmpl on highways which is quite close to what the company claims (unlike Hyundai). Smooth gearshift with no sound or wreck (as in still persisting in Hyundai Eon even after a makeover).

      Ride Quality & Handling The car feels great to drive & is very good in handling. Turning radius is very less (around 4.8 mtrs) THe car's heaight is so adjusted (brilliant work by Chevy) that it says stable even while taking sharp turns.

      Final Words I own a Beat PS Petrol & got it upgraded with Central Locking & Front Power Windows from Chevrolet itself (Genuine GM Accessories). It feels great to own this car. Chevy is very good in customer satisfaction. This car has proved above the mark (not just upto it) in performance. Chevy usually doesn't make cars with catchy looks (like Hyundai) but all its cars are the best in performance in heir respective segments. However, the car I bought is one of the best in the looks as well. It is defeinitely better than Figo in terms of Ground Clearance & Suspensions as it has no lean plastic hanging out of the body. Don't even think before buying it.

      Areas of improvement None. You can't expect anything more in such a competent price range. I bought it for 3.96 lacs (with free upgrade to Power Windows front & Central Locking Remote). Love this Car.

      Exterior As most of the users have liked the car from the exterior, I too quite like the exterior styling. It gives a nice feeling when you spot your car in the parking slot standing tall and smart. The front is absolutely stunning, although the rear could have been made better. The rear looks a bit like the old santro. The headlights are big and crystal clear.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I have the LS model which does not come with music system or chrome finishing interiors, but at the same time the plastic quality is best in the class. I found the seats somewhat less wide but after putting on the seat covers they look better and wider and also provide good lumbar support. The steering is light and sporty. Plenty of space for water bottles and small things like coins, mobile, id card etc. The ride is absolutely comfortable in city as well as highways. The cabin noise reduction is very good. The boot is small, but split seats can be handy if you have huge luggage.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The fuel economy I have been getting is 16.1, 14.7, 16.7 in three top ups that I have done. The drive cosisted of equal mix of highway and city drive with 50% AC on(i dont use AC in the evening, as weather in Bangalore in evenings is very pleasant).

      Engine is good enough for highways, in fifth gear crusing at 90 kmpl is quite fun. After 100 the engine noise increases a bit, but I guess the company says its for the sporty feel. For bumper to bumper traffic also the car is responsive. The gearbox is good and light. It may not be as light as i10, but for me it works fine.

      Ride Quality & Handling The suspension has impressed me a lot. For small/medium potholes and speed breakers the suspension is amazing.

      Final Words If you dont mind the boot space and a relatively less service network, its a very good buy.

      Areas of improvement Boot space, rear styling.

      Exterior All know the looks are sexy so I am not dwelling into the gory details here. Also, looks are subjective, so judge for yourself guys.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I am quite impressed by the interiors here. The dashboard inspired by the dual cockpit is really a treat with stuff eaily accessible as well as giving me a feeling that I am not in a hatchback but a sedan. And the feeling is really good since I feel I am driving a big car. From inside, this car gives a very nice feeling.

      One problems I face is that the automatic window slider buttons are a bit backward so I have to slide my hand back to roll the windows but I have got used to it and it is not a show-stopper at all. The features inside are nice. I got the package where they install some interiro designer material over the dashboard and I just love the look it gies to the interiors. Recently my friend got into the car and was thrilled to see the interiors. He has never been inside a Beat (he owns a WagonR) and said that Maruti sucks in interior design and this is awesome. The digital tachometer and fuel meter helps me a lot in calculating the FE also since it start blinking when fuel is less and you can easy mark the KM at that time till it blinks the next time for fuel indication. It is just awesome.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox FE is just great! I never thought a car of this size, weight and performance can deliver 14+ consistently in the city. It reaches 15+ most of the times but have never given me a FE of less than 14 where sometime for 10-15 minutes of my drive, I never reach 4th gear. First I thought I am calculating it wrongly but no, I get 14+ consistently.

      Gears are very smooth and I never had any problems in that. Maruti cars have got better and smoother gear shifts but BEAT matches them closely, unlike the hard gears of Hyndai cars.

      Ride Quality & Handling Handling is nice, even at 120KMP, I found no problem at all in steering response. The engine sound is too low and sometimes I and a couple of valet parking driver gave the self even when the car was still on - it is simply vibrationless still (it is 1.3 years and 10000 Km old now).

      Final Words It is worth to sepnd money on this. I bought this when market was waiting for reviews and many people told me to take the road most often taken - to go for Maruti - but I found this car so wonderful, that I took the road less taken and am pretty happy with my decision. Hope this helps you guys also in making your decision. I found the service guys too groomed and good (in Hyd) and they take care of the vehicle very well.

      Areas of improvement Boot space is less for long trips. Road clearance can be improved but since it has a shocker proof bumper, it is less of a concern even if it touches down a bit.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Interior of the Car is very very good.5 people can sit comfortably in the Car.The Legroom in front and rear is very good.

      Ride Quality & Handling Initially I felt car is little  difficult to handle in the heavy traffic of city but gradually I found it is ok, and finished 3000  Kms of drives, which I felt the price of the car  is  justified & Worth full with the performance, which the car gives me on road, it is giving me good mileage of 14-15kmpl in city areas, & 18-19 kmpl with AC at Highways. Its running is very-very smooth, sometimes I felt low pickup, with AC at low rpm, but it is manageable to me (keeping mileage factor in the mind). Whether in city or on highways, the car has always given me a  drive with cozy feel specially at the high speed. BEAT is a low cost, high powered,cozy pack on the wheels. Regarding the services after sales, little improvement(for GM) required, hopes it will be also good in the future.

      Areas of improvement Its head lights are very attractive but little elevated  out side from its  corners, which may get broken by side kissing from any object .

      First thing first beat is the new generation car its nt for those uncle n aunty types who wont really like the styling

      Exterior They are amazing, its something u always want in ur car, when u drive a beat ull see many heads turning to catch a glimpse of ur car which obviously will make any driver proud. Chevvy have worked soo well on styling this car. car looks smashing from the front as well as from the back . The only thing of concern is the high bonnet cuz of which many people will initially find this car difficult to drive and if ur short then due to lack of seat adjustment its very difficult to judge hence most beats ull c scratched on the sides while parking 

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It's totally plastic but u can see the quality of plastics which they have used it feels nice rich unlike i10 or vista. Seats are quite comfy. Front boot space it quite good  only thing of concern is the rear boot space its really not meant for tall people. the rear however has lot of space i was surprised at the delivery when i saw how deep it is.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox To be very frank its nt one of the most powerful engines of the lot but still it serves ur purpose. the best part i find is the stearing it feels solid n at the same time its sensitive too so car moves very swiftly on those narrow curves currently im getting the mileage of arond 12 in cities but it might increase after first servicing as company claims it to be one of the most fuel efficient cars. The only thing to worry is the cars pick up in 1st gear it really lacks the punch n u feel as if ur dragging the car, similarly on higher gears car starts loosing power, if u come across a hill then u really have to push some gas in to climb that

      Ride Quality & Handling This is one of the best part, they have worked so nicely on the suspension that it gives u an amazing riding experience.

      Final Words If ur looking for value for money then ill say definately go for this car, ull never regret. but if ur short n if u dont have seating arrangement in ur car then think 10 times before buying in a cost of 4.5 lacks i think u cant get anything better than this :).

      Exterior Styling is good & sporty .Designed for younger generation.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space in the front comfortable.Space at rear seems to be congested with limited view.The rear windows give limited view.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is satisfactory.Absoolutely silent engine during idling but little noisy when running. Pick up seems to be low but it might have relation with fuel economy.Not yet tested fuel economy with & without AC.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Riding comfort is satisfactory .However,reversing vehicle difficult due to limited view at rear. The instrument cluster view not good .Needs to redesign instrument cluster with better visibility.

       

      Final Words I have driven only 150 Kms so far . Initially the vehicle seems to deliver value for money. Only time will tell how the machine performs in long run & the quality of service not experienced yet .So no comments on service quality yet.

       

      Areas of improvement Better rear view for ease of handling specially while reversing the vehicle & more boot space.

      Exterior Excellent. I have test driven Swift, i10 and Beat, and with the budget I am having I have got the maximum features. I have got Gear Lock, Keyless Entry, seat cover and footmat with LS model.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I found the boot less spacious, also the driver seat must be height adjustable. But again in few days you will get used to it, so its not a very big issue as per my experience. Rest all is good.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Till now I have driven 3800+ Km and had my second service. The mileage is around 17.5 - 18 KMPL (Full tank method, without AC).

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Good. I have taken my Beat to maximum of 120 KMPH and still the driving was comfortable.

       

      Final Words I can suggest that you can definetely go for Beat.

      Car is ok. If you do not use it many repairs will come. Servicing stations are very far and hard to find. Regular servicing is required annually and if mileage is low. Overall good features and the car is excellent. Do wheel alignment every 1000 km or 6 months.
