3.0 Exterior | 3.0 Comfort | 4.0 Performance |
4.0 Fuel Economy | 2.0 Value for Money |
Exterior Looks a little old boaring Eurpoean but strudy, it has good shape of the lightings and beam also the auto sensor of wipers. The old Skoda grill.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) If you are self driving it is pleasure, good space and the old style dashborad - adjustable seats and driving wheel.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very powerful engine 0-100 in 10sec, very strong on the climbe - no jerking on bumops and pot holes , steady steering, good fule economy considering 2ltr engine - very smooth gear transmission but will last around 60000kms then will have change clutch kit fly weel etc which will cost 80k - I am having this car since Oct2011 and have done 70000kms. Annual service is high cost around 24k. The tyres tend to last 50000kms.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality if you are driving - but if are sitting on rear seat it is noy comfortable and the AC do not work in rear in summers it is pathetic. Handling is very easy - both in terms reversing etc though it does not have reverse parking camera - my is 2011 model Ambition 4X4 which does not have the modern LCD displays , navigation and multimedia systems - it is fitted with the earlier age MM system. The power steering is amazing - the safety featrues are really good standards.
Final Words Over priced car in 2011 it was 18lac currently 22/23lacs I think unsless you are a di hard skoda fan and wants a powerful urban SUV and self driving it is not worth. But this is power horse and if you are doing 70-100kms daily it is a good option.
Areas of improvement Rear AC, the Dash board panel and MM system with modern gadgets.
Good for self driving - powerful engine and stable fuel economy.Rear seats are really not worth riding-Rear AC are very poor
