Cheaper Option to Over-Priced VENTO

Exterior

 Rapid corrects a big error left in Vento. Vento's front Indicators between front grill & head lamps are not visible clearly, which at times can be very risky. Rapid has front indicators correctly placed to be much more clearly visible.

Also Vento & many other VW cars have very cheap cost cut, i.e. Reverse Gear indicator only on 1 side. Which is again very risky. Though Fabia has this error of only 1 side reverse gear lamp...But Rapid has both sides.

Exterior, its Fabia front+ Vento rear. Rivals like LINEA, MANZA, New FIESTA, Verna etc. look way better

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 It gives the feel of cramped hatch plus a big boot. Skoda needs to do much to improve the in-cabin space & make it more comfortable

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Nothing much changed from Vento. Maintenance remians very costly for all VW & Skoda cars

Ride Quality & Handling

 Small 14 inch tyres lack comfort. DZire has much better ride & handling. VW & Skoda should think to shift to 15 inch & wider set of rubber like 185 or 195 MM width as in LINEA, New Fiesta, Manza, Verna etc.

Final Words

 Nothing that makes the car look class apart.

Areas of improvement  

 Interior, Exterior, Tyre profile, Cost of spares & service etc.

 

Cheaper version of VW. safer than Vento due to better LightsStlying, Interior, Fuel effeciency behind competition
