- A well tamed beast called Kodiaq.I was in the market for a bigger SUV-type car. Coming from Honda City, I wanted the best-built, good-to-drive, and luxury car. Kodiaq TSI fitted all the points. Compared to similar cars in the segment like BMW X1, Audi Q3, and Mercedes GLA the entry-level options, Kodiaq is much more value for money. The engine is the same as the Audi Q3 and in the 50 lakhs segment for SUV, Kodiaq is the fastest doing 0-100 in 7.8 seconds. The cabin is super silent. The Canton Sound system is awesome. You enjoy driving the car and it does not tire you. The headlights are more than sufficiently intelligent and adaptive. Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) is a game changer. You get 3 levels of settings comprising suspension, steering, AC, headlights, and engine performance. This makes the drive so comfortable. Select the Comfort mode for the glide-like experience and sports mode when you want to run on the highway. The last row is strictly for children but is good for an occasional hour to 2-hour seating for kids up to 5 feet 4-inch height I guess. The only so-called drawback is the Fuel Efficiency if it bothers you and no AC vent in the third row. Overall a great car.Rating parameters(out of 5)5

0 - Amongst the best , 7 row Suvs from VW groupAs spacious as a q7, good torque and smooth engine . Amongst the best from VW group . It’s also sturdy and superb built like a tank . So, it is better than Gloster, Endeavour, Fortunes but less than x1 and gla and another cons that it has no diesel engine for users.Rating parameters(out of 5)4

I even got a nice discount too. The engine feels great and peppy and does not feel underpowered at all. The looks are such that they will never get old and will age like fine wine. The facelift has been executed really well. The only downside to this car is its cramped 3rd row but this hasn't been an issue for me since we don t carry more than 4 people ever(This is also a problem with its main rival Fortuner) . Even with all the seats up, we get a nice boot space. Overall, I would 100% recommend this car to others over the Fortuner since here we get more features for the price and also the solid Skoda build quality. The fuel economy is also decent, the indicator was showing 14 km/l at the time of writing the review. I owned a Rapid before so after sales service is also great with Skoda. Overall, this is the value for money SUV which is a union of Fortuner's capability and Luxurious high end cars feel.Rating parameters(out of 5)5
