Overall the best car in this segment

Exterior May be its bit old, but still looks great.. especially in elegance model with rectangular front fog lamps unlike roundish in other cars... Ultimate build quality for this segment. By mistake I hit poll on the left side with consideable speed... but no damage to the body whatsoever. If it was any other car like swift or any other, surely there would have been a dent.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Simply superb!!!!! I was flatterred by the interiors at the very begining. It feels like sedan. Quality of the materials used is very good. AC is very good and cools within a minute.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite powerful.. Good thing is the power doesnt decrease considerably even if AC is on. I had some trouble with Ford figo when AC is on, especially at uphills.. I had to turn off the ac to climb. But no problem with fabia. Gearbox ultra smooth.. never gets stuck in between. Fuel economy in Bangalore city with ac around 14-15 and highway I got about 19!!!!! I got it may be because I maintained speed of about 120-130kmph.. because it was new.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellant ride quality.. you know where exactly your car is going.. steering response is just amazing. Car drive for long hours without getting tired. breaking is very good and control is very good even at high speeds of 150-160 kmph.

Final Words If you are ready to pay about 10-15% more compared some other cars like figo then this is the car to go for. I feel i20 petrol is totally under powered with i10 engine and polo is over priced even though both fabia and polo have the same engines. Interiors are better in fabia compared to any other in this segment.

Areas of improvement Little bit of engine noice at low RPMs. however it becomes silent after RPM crosses 25-30K. Not sure about after sale services. so far I didnt have any problem with that in Bangalore. Bought it from vinayaka motors.
