I was searching for a new car (hatchback) and this is the first time i am buying new care (i normally buy used cars every 4 year). After researching a lot i finalized this car (Elegance Diesel).

Ok, i booked it with one of the dealer in Gurgaon (Giriraj Motors) and they have given me a huge discount on it (65,000). After that i applied for finance and submitted my papers with the bank.

After 5 days i got a call from dealer saying that they cant give that much of discount because Skoda has changed the plan. I told them that i have booked this care 5 days back and ur are suddenly changing the discount part.

After many calls and discussions i cancelled my booking and no more interested in buying this car because of Dealer. I don't know but this is the first & worst experince of my life with Skoda.

If people you are going to buy Skoda please be sure that your dealer is giving you everything in written.

This car is very good as a luxury but not good for rough riding / bad roads because of low ground clearence and very high cost of parts and service.

Exterior

 The skoda Fabiais a well designed hatchback car. I very much liked the front part of Fabia.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interiors are very good. Very spacious and comfortable. The all skoda cars are very safe. The parts are made of good quality. The A/C is very cool and.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The engine is little noisy. The i10 takes place i20 take a lead. The gears are little stiff. Good millage. Very good engine perfomence. The car will never vibrate like TATA Indica 2000 model. The TATA cars are very noisy. If we compare any car of TATA of this range the skoda Fabia will be the king.   

Ride Quality & Handling

 The iding quality is very good.You feel very good and proud. The hanling is very comfortable . The car is very smooth.  

Final Words

 If you buy any of the skoda car. I t will be very relieble for you.

Areas of improvement  

 The sound should be less.

 

style,value for money, A/C,handling,safety,engine noise, little less power.

 

Exterior superb classic design and strong metal.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great features, adjutable mirrors,ac, power steering is superb great road grip, less than 7 ltr petrol indicator, service indicator, everthing can be done with a finger!

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox smooth!

 

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent happy so far! :) The car is heaviest in the segment and offers excellent road grip and pick up! Superb responsive engine which is quite silent. The car rockets upon a slight pedal push and managing the city traffic is very easy. It just zooms past even before the other vehicle realises!The Detailed Finishing of the Skoda gives it a classic look and looks apart in the crowd of Swift and i10.The finshing touch given can be personafied to German Engineering.

Fuel Economy In the quality of interiors is very good and world class. The interiors give a plush feeling and the operating switches are of premium quality.

 

Final Words Good buy! and very smooth gear!

 

Areas of improvement Engine noise should be reduced... it ok now through!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great interior and simple but elegant in look.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine: dull, very slow pick up on 1st gear but run nice after 2nd onwards. It was making noise which can be heard even after AC is on and windows are closed. I rode it for few Km so really do not want to comment. But car is comfortable.

Gearbox: Very smooth. Only reverse gear was little confusing for the first time. It is same as first gear by pushing the gear knob down.

Ride Quality & Handling Good. Car is really good. It is smooth car and fabulous. Only first time all the knobs are at opposite side so little confusing but matter of getting adjusted.

Final Words Good car. Even my wife drove few Km and she liked it except pick up and engine sound (Noise). I am going for Petrol version so hope it will not be that noisy and good in pick up.

Areas of improvement Good car but need little smooth engine and little more pick up, Also ambient 1.2 MPI is missing music system. :(

Exterior Impressive dignified shape, simple ligting heads.Resembles successful Maruthi Swift in shape.No fog lamp in the lower ends is minus. Overall great.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In one go excellent but still can be improved by providing  sufficent  files size space .Reduce the rear bottle tray length to increase leg comfort for middle seater of rear seat. Electonic display features can still be improved as that of Figo where in the distance can be covered by the remaining fuel is indicated.Rear speakers are closed when the back seaters are leaning to door. Overall simply superb.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Low noise levels.Ease in changing gears except riverse gear a little bit confusing.Fuel economy good in contemparary.

Ride Quality & Handling High quality riding experience. Easy handling.

Final Words Feel like Mechanically higer version But inferior in Electronic system utilisation to contemporists. The cost factor is to be reviewd for middle end user. Accessories are to be provided in the present cost. The feel is not good  to go for Skoda Accessaries to ordinary level shops and get the hands of them on Skodas.

Areas of improvement For middle end, Rear reversing two lamps to provide, Instead of two air bags ABS +one air bag may be thought of. Sound system should be inbuilt. INCREASE  AUTO /ELECTONIC CONTROLS to make it amicable to now Electronic generation.

Exterior Classy for the hachback type.

Final Words My biggest concern is though the AC is on I can smell the pollution and suffer from bad odour when in the traffic. Its just 2 months I baught this car , though satisfied with the looks etc, I need to know weather anybody else is suffering from the same problem. I always use AC but do suffer from pollution problem though all windows are closed.I hv driven 4500 km in just 2 months so can be confident with this problem. Also another small problem is the doors become quiet dirty in the closing curves when it rains. But never found the simiar problem in skoda octavia and Zen estilo that I used.

I had hopes from the Skoda Hachback as I used octavia for more than 3 years and drove more than 150,000kms. The pick up is okay.The exterior is classy.

Areas of improvement NA.

INTERIOR, EXTERIOR,REAR SEAT COOMFORTNOISY ENGINE, BAD PICK UP,NOT AIR TIGHT COMPARTMENT

Exterior Great contemporary looks, stands out in 'crowd', surely catches eye.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable, nice effective AC, noiseless, good space all around, meticulously detailed features like bounce back power windows, 'cool' dash board, dual airbags gives a sense of security to all family.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Smooth engine and gearbox. Fuel economy in highways 13.5Km/l.

Ride Quality & Handling Great ride quality, stands out in 'crowd'.

Final Words It is for people looking for PERFECTION. I am looking to add another sedan to my fleet but cars up to 10L do not match my Fab in quality and detailing. Wish should have gone spend another lakh to opt for the top model at that time with folding keys, 60-40 rear seat adjustment and alloy wheels.

Areas of improvement Boot space shelf needs improvement in operation design. Real view mirrior assembly line has a generic alighnment problem.

Great comfort level-noiseless, good feature, wish should have gone for the top model.Fighting for extended warranty beyond two years.

Exterior Elegant by looks, cuts through traffic and air easily. The alloy wheels add to the beauty of the car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are fabulous. I wished for a much trendy inbuilt player, but the one they've given is undoubtedly at its best. Car seems to be very spacious especially when compared to other hatchbacks of other make. Comfort level is too good. You dont feel the shocks inside when seated.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is awesome; there is a beast under the hood however with all the power fuel economy is just average. I get fuel economy in the range 10-14kmpl. Gear box is very smooth and I have never had such smooth shifting in any other car except my merc c class. My PUC certificate shows emissions 0.00!

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is numero uno! Handling is superb; you know exactly where your car is heading!

Final Words Those looking for luxury this is your car. I believe when you buy such a costly car you hardly worry about the fuel consumption! You will enjoy the ride, the comfort and the german engineering.

Areas of improvement If the inbuilt cd player could feature dvd/usb playback and a lcd information display that would complete it. Rear parking sensor would add to the comfort of parking!

Exterior About vehicle great look outside.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In side vehicle is attractively good, good leg space nice colour interiors.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is amazing good mileage but engine sound is more when compare to our indian cars spares and service is costly but there is no service available immediately in blore city.If service is cheep then the vehicle is going to click in India.

Ride Quality & Handling About driving vehicle is good, Handling is little bit costly, there is no many more service in bangalore city If service is improved in city there is scope to increase in sales.

Final Words Vehicle is good only rich can have this vehicle this is [purely for huge valleters].

Areas of improvement In bangalore city service station is only two If it improved more then it will be fine for vehicle owoners.and spares should be kept at lower price which can be affordable for all communities the vehicle is having nice ambience and good look overall in mileage excellent, pick is superb even innova cant beat it. Breaking is also good the main thing is it should be want to become litle bit cheep in sales and service.
