I had purchased a Fabia Ambiente Petrol recently. According to me its superb. Recently Skoda has reduced their price by a considerable amount. Now the difference in price of Swift Dzire ZXi and Fabia Ambiente Petrol is only 30 thousand. but the feel of this Fabia car is just amazing. Its worth paying that extra amount. Truly you feel special while driving this car. I am not aware what will it be in the long run but as of now I am enjoying every bit of it.The car comes with integrated music system MP3/Radio and a semi automatic climate control. ). It comes with Power Windows, Electro - Hydro Power Steering- EHPS, Tilt - Telescoping Steering Wheel, Driver and Co-Passenger Airbags, Dual Row AC (Under Front Seats).

Best Vechile in City roads(Hyderabad) to Park or For Freaking out with Family/Friends etc.Check out For any Technical issues or Test Drives at Mahavir Stores, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Exterior Rear exteriors are boring, lights have a good coverage, super super solid body. I was driving my car at 140 or so...and suddenly hit a plastic road baricade filled with water. Car did not lose its control at all, the bonutte was slightly dented and the bumper cracked. Thats it. Had it been any other car like a swif or an i20, the bonutte would for sure have folded.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Not so stylish but good quality of material used. Gear box never gave me a problem, have driven 1.5lac KM. Still the dashboard is the way it was. the doors, dashboard, stearing, seats are still not shaky or noisy. Again, my swift diesel has been shaky since i have done 20k KM.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear box=super smooth. Engine= no probs whatsoever till now. AC has given me troubles many times and the company never actually supported the issue.

Ride Quality & Handling Superb superb quality, probably the best for an under 10 lac car. drive it at 140 or 150 you will b always confident and in full control. Effortlessly. @ 140 u feel that u r driving at 80 except the noise. The cabin is sound proof. u dont get to hear the traffic horns at all, the only sound u hear is music + engine noise.

Final Words If you dont minde spending 20-30% extra on spares, dont mind 20% cut in the resail and cant comromise on quality. This is the car in this segment. I own swift diesel, verna diesel, and honestly i hate these makes since i bought skoda. German Whisky vs Desi tharra lol.

Areas of improvement After sale service and spare costs!!

Exterior Look that can kill, makes heads turn on the road and in parking the car stands out in a crowd. It is the big B in hatchbacks.the front and side view of the car is excellent.looks solid.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Stylish, impressive and comfortable interiors.one feels like in the lap of luxury the moment u step inside. the seats are comfortable and the console is very convenient and pleasing.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The car is very nimble and soft. the gears are smooth and sure. i got a fuel economy of 24 from delhi to pathankot.in city driving it gives me 18.5 which is excellent. the engine is not at all noisy,but purrs like a tiger.

Ride Quality & Handling The car handles and drives like a dream.

Final Words Jut plain and simple--- excellent.keep up the good work.

Areas of improvement Skoda should open few more service stations.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) is avg. less leg space for the rear seats. boot space is huge.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Initally it was giving 18.5 kms, now it is giving 16 kms on high ways at a speed 100 to 110 kms. its 30000 kms review. i will not recommand any one to buy a skoda product.

Ride Quality & Handling At 100 kms speed if we apply breaks the car is sliding. very very poor breaking system and front suspension also.

Final Words NOT BUY SKODA. In a single word If u buy u r inviting problems.

Areas of improvement After sale service is the main issue to improve. the compant should have regional head office and their contact nos. the company has one toll free no and one mail id, in that none will respond. i am suffer from the day of my fabia purchase, still the defectives r not solved from 60kms to 30000 kms. NO RESPONSE TO MY MAILS AND FAX SEND TO THE MANAGING DIRECTOR ALSO. So see the respose from the company. IF U WANT TO INVITE PROBLEMS THEN BUY SKODA.

Fabia looks goodInteriors avg, after sales is very bad from the dealers and company supports them.

Exterior Looks imposing, sturdy & polished. Fog lights add to beauty of the pretty face. Longest possible hatch (4 Mts./12 Ft.) Even, longer than new Dezire!.

Lift the bonnet & feel the weight of metal, the first line of defence (may be 3 times heavier to Marutis & Hyundis). "Thud"of closing door shall reinforce the fact. So, no cost cutting in safety front.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Features: Airbags, ABS, EBD, Good AC, Telescopic & Tilt steering, verticaly adjustably drivers seat, acoustics light, fog lights, adjustable lights, alloys, fuel supply cut-off in severe accident (engine falls 2 ground), bounce back power windows, auto lock of windows at 15km/hour, lights in dicky & glove box, reading lights, adjustable seat belts, Multi-function display (very nice & handy) and few more

Space is simply stunning even for taller guys. 315 lits. boot & even ample space for engine. So, everything get its own comfortable space.

Seats are good & driver has great comfort beacuse of height adjustabllity. So many features which make life easier.!.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is 3-Cylinder MPI (1198) which is a bit of drag in low gears(must be necessary for deriving reasonable fuel economy for 1170 kg beast; 4-Cylinder may beat hell out of the average). people say its globla straegy for VW group for hatches (Polo has same 3-cylinder engine). So, all in all one point conceded there but not much of worry beacuse, its compensated with nice fuel efficiency. I have just done 10,00 kms. with 1.2 Elegance (petrol). I have done some sytematic measurements & its giving 17-18 kms/Litre (with some AC in way) in a continous 500 Kms Journey (Delhi to Palampur HP, fully loaded car in highways & hills).

Its potential for economy is quite well. In Patel Nagar,Delhi to NOIDA 125 It has done more than 20 Kms/litres, though in ideal morning conditions (Non-AC). In typical Delhi traffic (with its strong AC) its doing some 13.5-14 kms/litre (not bad for this premium hatch).

Its digital meter can instantly tell you as howz it drinking(I am sure its 95-100% correct). Gear box is pretty fine with unique reverse gear position (don't put fat floor mats; it hampers ideal clutch depression)

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is nice & relatively better in tougher conditions. Handing is out of world ( i drive fastest on curves). Very stable at high speeds (ABS & wider tyres 185 mm do help a bit).

Tough suspensions cearte lesser problems in ground clearance.

Final Words Greatest value for money for a premium European hatch (i got top model (Dec 2011)for 5.35 lacs on road Delhi). So Dec 2012 is best time to buy if you are looking for long term ownership. I am sure It shall make you smile only!.

After bargaining hard, save some money in insurance (do it yourself), Guess Arshia Motors in CP is best for Sales & ASS. Spares & service has become more economical (if you see its equivalent to Maruti only)

Areas of improvement Nothing much is possible, I guess in these price points.

Great and comfortable ride. Love at first sight. A1 performance. Low maintenance. Did not had any problems with the car as maintained with care. But had to struggle with some part which where installed by the first owner.

I was thinking, about a year back, that I want a car which can give me a value for my money, in the times of recession can give me a fuel economy which does not force me to cut down on my driving pleasures, where I can have a brand name to flaunt and where I can zip pass through without worrying about the pick up, speed or the stability of the car.

Fortunately for me and for custmers like me, skoda answered our call by making a car for our dreams. People who could only dream of owning a skoda could now actually own it. They made a car which not only fulfilled our dreams but also gave us a sense of pride amongst us that we are now a part of a 130 year old family which has a rich history of performance and standing up for people's needs when they need them the most.

I t has been a wonderful experience for me and my family till now. right from the audio system to the mileage, from power to the brand, our needs have been fulfilled and nw i feel that yes my decision to buy this car was a good one. Its mileage is the highest in its segment and is really spacious, contradicting many a thoughts of its critics. In one word, the purchase has been AWESOME!!..

Great Fuel economy, power, stylish, sporty look,pricing, bit noisy engine compared to other diesel cars

I got my car 4 months back and so far iam delighted with the car's performance,the feel good factor it offers which no other car in its segment can even come close to.first theres hatchbacks and then there is the fabia.The car's built quality is characterised by Skoda's characteristic thud when you close the door which is unlike a hatchback.The car is also one of the safest in the market with 2 airbags in its base model active.i own a diesel ambientte which offers a mileage that no other car comes close to,in city conditions it gives me around 16 and on highways it gives me 19.last month on express highway it gave me a staggering average of 26 which is hard to believe.it is clearly a car that can give a sedan a run for its money and the price is also on the higher side which might compel you in buying a car like honda city or a sedan,but provided youre not hellbent for a boot the fabia meets all the requirements that you look for and even more which even the mid size sedans fail to deliver.you get features like power windows and mirrors,fully adjustable seats,heaters on mirrors,airbags and abs,foglamps,alloywheels,parkatronics and more....Fabia is a car which promises to deliver more for more and indeed it does....

The exterior rear view mirrors are stylish and have a heating function to top it. This, says Skoda, helps the Fabia driver get a better view during monsoons, bad weather etc. The mirrors are power-adjustable too.

As part of the music system comes an auxiliary audio output, which can be used to plug in your iPod. The electric sunroof has both slide and tilt functions. AC vents are present on both front and rear, with climatic temperature control.
