Exterior

New pulse looks just like the old one but is loaded with better features. The exterior is unique and looks good in dark colour more than white. I like its looks and I think it does not look like micra, in fact it looks better.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Now they have introduced ABS in this model, nav system, upgraded interiors with better looks. Steering mounted audio controls and driver seat is more adjustable now. Boot space is also enough and sitting space is comfortable. Storage compartments, cup holders are placed comfortably. Distance to empty and other features like door open warning, fuel low warning are useful and convenient.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The car performs exceptionally well and driving pleasure is good even for a diesel car. The gearbox compliments the engine and there is no pickup issue. Suspension is good and on the highways this car glides without any issues. 

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality and handling are very balanced. I enjoy driving this car and it doesn't stress me out even in traffic. I like driving it at top speeds as well, it responds really well that way. I am happy with this car.

Final Words

Buy this car if you are looking for a good looking car packed with all new features, fuel efficient and a decent hatchback.

Areas of improvement  

They could bring more variants in this car.

Exterior

This is a good looking car even if people say it looks like micra. It has its own charm and looks really good on the road. It is easy to drive in traffic and as a family car it is a very good option, not too big not too small.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interior is good with basic functionality. The old version has less features compared to new one. The audio controls are not on steering and the driver seat does not have adjustment options. Other features like seat belt warning and low fuel warning are useful. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Diesel engine is good with a deserving gearbox. Fuel efficiency is the best part, it gives around 18 in the city and 20 on the highways.

Ride Quality & Handling

Handling and riding quality is excellent and the feels good to drive it on the highways. Though in traffic it seems well balanced too. No problems in this area.

Final Words

A very affordable and presentable family car for the long run. It is one of the most ignored cars in the market but actually is a good buy and worth every penny.

Areas of improvement  

 Interior features.

The new pulse 2015 has much better interiors than the old one. I bought it three months ago and was offered a mouthwatering deal on it. The car is strong and looks masculine on the road. The best part about the car is its cabin, it is very well designed and spacious. I bought the diesel variant and the performance is really good. the driving experience is great and due to the suspension I feel no issues driving on bad roads as well. The moment you punch the accelerator, the engine revs up and you feel no turbo lag. I use it singly for city commute and it has never disappointed me till now. The dealership was prompt with procedures and delivery. I am really to have bought this car since it is very convenient and low maintenance. My family loves the car and we enjoy long drives in it together.

This car is the best in the class and Renault pulse test drive I took before two weeks and I liked it a lot. If you see how they have made the interiors of the car, compare it with the old pulse, you will see so much difference. The new pulse has very premium feel to it and there is no way you will disregard this car in any aspect. I observed that they have given up down adjustment for the driver seat and the seats are very comfortable. The rear seats fit three medium build people easily and the boot space is really big for a car this size. Safety wise everything is in place be it ABS, EBD, airbags, de fogger and powerful headlights. Many options for accessories have also been provided. I really liked the feel of the car and the pickup was marvelous after 2nd gear, very smooth transition and no turbo lag of any kind. Smart buy.
