Exterior Sure its an Eyecatcher, stylish , Excellent finish of exterior parts ,Beautiful headlight design. Low beam intensity to be improved. Lack of colors makes diificult for selections . Few colurs can completely taken put and shall introduce more vibrant colours.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent interiors . 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent in all aspects.

Ride Quality & Handling At high speeds more than 90 Kmph feels like gliding rather than riding.

Final Words Best hatchback for city ride . Enjoyed the diesel Pulse drive for last 2 months in bumpy road, steep up hill, expressway, the usual highway! Found some negatives (read on the net) false and the positives to be very true! Felt the right Pulse for my purposes! Good pickup, ride quality, engine sound, incity handling! Useful little space to the left of the clutch peddle for the foot. I believe the mileage would be great too-17city. Found Pulse very good on the highway! Easy to 120, comfy& stable at 140...even touched 170!! At high speeds(120+):Pulse’s performance, engine sound & vibrations, steering, brakes isn’t as bad as it sounds in some review articles. Higher ground clearance & ABS would have been a complete driver’s package! Pulse is MISSING a USB port, switches on steering, better place for ORVM switches,

Areas of improvement Service needs to be improved. Pick up service shall be made free of cost and immediate. Few changes can make this best of the hatchback types.

Exterior The car is sturdy and has a pleasant look about it. It is compact looking while it is actually a roomy car like the logan.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Stylish and good material seems to have been used this time unlike the Logan which used flimsy plastic. There is plenty of room and even a six foot person can comfortably sit and drive with adequate head room. There are plenty of features like closing and opening trear view mirrors electronically from inside, airbags for both front passengers etc. But the storage space could be better.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent engine - diesel. Performance ius superb. And even within city with traffic it easily gives 18 kms to a litre - with out traffic it could go upto 20 kmpl in city with ac on. Fabulaously smooth drive and good features like a tiltable steering.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is superb. Suspensions are excellent. Clearance though good can be even a little more on Indian roads.

Final Words The car is worth every penny and can easily last for upto 300000 kms, like new if mantained well I think. It is a sturdy safe and efficient car and great value for money in its calss,

Areas of improvement Dashboard storgae can be improved. Clearance although good can be more.

I purchase Pulse RxL Diesel in Sept-12. After 8 months I am writing this review to share my experiences with all of you. Its very nice vehicle. The best thing is power. 1500 cc engine same as of Duster in such a small vehicle makes it perfect. Highly spacious from inside. When its overtaking time, you really feels this power. The bad thing among the design is make selection of tyre as "MAXXIS". Such a big brand must not select such a tyre make, which no one knows. There is a frequent pressure drop in this tyres. I tried Nitrogen too. Always it comes to 20 psi even within 6-7 days of winter as well as summer too. I made complaint about the tyres but as usual no result. Colour of my vehicle is White, whereas the dashboard colour selcted is dull cherry red with black. It looks very bad as combination. Even the colour gets dull in 8 months. Before purchasing this i tried for Punto, Fabia, i20 and Polo and Pulse found to be best among all. Still I recommend to take this vehicle as its value for money.

Overall

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features good. Interior not upto the mark, Comfortable.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Perfect.

Ride Quality & Handling Perfect.

Final Words Slightly higher in price but perfect.

Areas of improvement Interior, Tyres make, Bottle space can be increased.

Exterior Good, Exteriors are fair, you get a back wiper with RXL Disel model, which is only available in higher end models of maruti.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Plastic quality is good, airbag, one touch power windows, electronic mirrors, climate control A/c this all features of top-end vehicle are provided in the RXL diesel model. You get a good feel while driving.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven 1500 km yet in the first 25 days of taking days and i am getting average of 18 km with ac in the city. Engine is 1500 cc and has good pickup the gear shifting is smoot.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is good and handling is superb.

Final Words I am loving the car, I bought it in the year end scheme of diesel car at petrol rate. Value for money deal. Gives perfect pleasure of driving.

Areas of improvement There is always an area for improvement. Engine refinement and smoothness will make it better than best in the segment.
