I purchased this car as new, initially in first 20,000 km pickup was not good enough, but as it crossed 20,000 km it gave me good mileage and pickup too. I highly recommend this car for daily office use.

Buying experience was really nice, staff was supporting all my questions. I got a better offer price when compared with New Alto K10 AMT and S-presso AMT. People used to say steering never comes back but I found it comes but not good as TATA cars.

I bought a new car in August 2023, expecting safety and reliability. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. While driving at a modest speed of 40 km/h, a calf ran in front of my car, resulting in a minor collision. To my shock, the car immediately caught fire, leading to its total destruction. Thankfully, I escaped unhurt, and the calf was also unharmed. Despite the minor nature of the accident, the car’s catastrophic response was alarming. Even more disappointing was the manufacturer's response. Instead of addressing the serious safety concern, they consistently blamed me with invalid reasons, showing a complete lack of accountability. After months of struggle, I managed to recover only half the car's value through insurance. The other half is a total loss. The car not only failed to provide basic safety but also cost me heavily, both financially and emotionally. The manufacturer’s poor handling of the situation only added to my distress. I strongly advise against purchasing this car. My experience has been a costly lesson in the importance of safety and manufacturer responsibility, both of which were sorely lacking in this case.

This is my first car and I wanted a budget AMT as my wife would driving in the city. I had 4 choices in this price segment, Tata Tiago Maruti Spresso, Maruti Alto K10 and Kwid. I chose the Kwid for its looks and features. Even though it looks small from the outside it's very roomy on the inside. And it has features like electric windows and remote mirrors which Maruti skips. I have done 3000 kms mainly on highways and I like the comfort and suspension. Also, the NVH is not what it's made out in reviews unless you really floor the pedal.

Pros: Stylish and SUV inspired design Spacious interior for its size Fuel efficient engines East to handle and maneuver. Affordable price Cons: Highway performance could be better. Cabin noise insulation could've been better. Able to feel the lag when gear shifts in AMT variants. The Renault kwid is perfectly suitable foe city dwellers, first time car buyers, and who are tight on budget and is more practical and affordable hatchback which makes it a compelling choice for city users.

Buying experience was good, I bought it in 2015 when the car was launched. I have done around 85,000 Km and have driven on all terrains. The car gives me around 15 Km/l in city and 23-23 km/l on highway ( With AC off). With AC , 13 in city and 20 on highway. The breaking performance of car changes with AC on and also I do feel that sometimes pickup drop and engine does vibrate while releasing clutch. Well cant expect a lot with 3 cylinder at this price point. The car ground clearance is 180mm but the silencer touches the ground quite often and I have got the silencer changed on yearly basis. One thing to keep in mind, the place with engine oil is also plastic so once it touches the ground it does break down too. But most of the time you will get your silencer changed. The race pedal also got changed but in like 5 years so can't complaint. The shocker and arm also needs to be changed in 5 years. I live in Delhi and drive in pretty bad roads while going to Gurgaon. The shocker in trunk also got changed twice but overall the service is good and parts are available at Renault so I am ok with it and I don't expect a lot in a 5 lakh car. I do feel that parts like shocker, accelerator and silencer do need some work from Renault side because I don't see this problem in my friends alto. But Renault did good.

Driving experience was not up to mark as we compared with Tata Tiago, Maruti and other entry-level car. Internal space was very good however build quality is not up to mark and not safe car for highway drive

Very good small family car. It is my first car, so I am very happy with it. Overall best car for City and highway only the mileage I get is very low 15.9 / lit. on highway. Which is very low.
