      1)Buying experience: Not the best, Car was not delivered at the committed time, found problems with extra fittings and had to take my car to the dealer within 3 days of purchase 2)Riding experience is not good: The gear changing is not smooth. The vehicle always starts with a jerk. Have complained about it several times but in vain. The workshop says it is normal. Moreover, the gear changing system already had a problem 3 times and some solenoid had to be replaced. The workshop does not exactly explain the cause. I do not know what will happen after the completion of the warranty period. AMT for Renault Kwid should not be bought - Manual transmission is still ok. Moreover, the suspension is not smooth. It makes a loud noise when moving over a pothole. The shock absorber is not of good quality - it deteriorates quite fast. My car has only run 11000 kms now and the shock absorber already has lost its rigidity. 3. Looks are good compared to the other vehicles of similar range. However, the performance has been found wanting in all dimensions. Several times the gear changing system have had a problem. Thrice the solenoid motor got replaced under warranty. God knows what will happen after completion of the warranty period. The suspension is very substandard. The shock absorber has already lost its rigidity after driving 11000 kms. The shocker is hitting the body after getting fully compressed. On complaining to the workshop, they are saying that this is normal and present with every car. 4. Servicing is a big issue with Renault cars. The workshops have been found to be lying to customers about the work done by them and there is a serious lack of trust. Once the mechanics were caught red-handed, claiming to have opened and greased the suspension, where as the suspension was never opened after manufacture. Gear shifting is problematic. Any problem with the gear and the car would stall there. Its not like manual gears where you can do something based on your experience. The gear mechanism had to be repaired about 4 times within a odometer of 11000 kms. I get my car services at Renault Kolkata Central workshop at Mehmanpur, Kolkata 5.Renault KWID is really a nice car for the price as far as the looks goes, but built wise its very weak and substandard. The body is so soft that even if you box the body anywhere, there will be a big dent on the body. The fuel consumption within the city is very high - as high as 9.7 km/litre of petrol. On highways I got about 18.5 kms with Aircon. I thing other AMT's are much better than Renault KWID - so better stay away from it.

      KWID RXT 1.0 L (2016) Not Recommended. Don't Buy it. Not suitable even for city driving; forget about highways. The dealership sold me this car which was driven manually for 750 km all the way from Nasik. I could know this. And got fooled. The RTO registration was not successful. They did not tell me. My car met with an accident and I did not get any insurance claim. I paid 13k Rs. from my pocket. Then after a lot of wait, emails and debate they refunded 50% of the expense money to me. The car has a Sudden Pick-Up loss problem. When AC is turned ON; the car engine loses power and eventually shuts down. After at least 15 visits to service centre + 200 km of Road Test + Change of Spare parts under warranty the problems remain the same. In a span of 1 year the car SHUT DOWN for at least 30-40 times; while driving which risked mine and my family's life on the highway. Now the shutdown problem is gone but pick up loss is still there. Don't trust the digital fuel meter. It will fail you. It failed me. Engine heats up and car shuts down but no error lights showed on the dashboard. Gears Stick while changing. Service people use only water instead of coolant in the radiator. I had to change the lower arms of both front suspensions after driving only 30k km. Still, they make that khat-khat clunking noise after passing over even smallest of pit holes. The whole body is made of Cheap Plastic and Metal. The car vibrates and gets a lot of road noise inside the cabin. At the time of purchase Front Left power window was not opening smoothly and was making terrible noises; they said it will smoothen up after few days of use. But nothing happened. After 2 years and 4-5 attempts they replaced the window under warranty. Just within 3 years of purchase; the car silencer is breaking The window glass have developed dotted patches within first 6 months of purchase. In fact; I will never recommend this car to anyone. I dont want to sell this car to anyone because he/ she will suffer.

      I bought this car three years back and have driven it for 54670 Km till now. It is the worst car maintenance wise after first 40000 Km. Spare parts are too costly and service is costlier than maruti. Earlier I had alto and I think I have made a huge mistake by buying kwid. Looks are deceiving as you get trapped by looks only. Space inside the car is also good but in the long run suspension of the car gets loose and then comes the trouble.

      on 04.01.2022 i gave my car (Renault Kwid RXT Opt- DLicu8919) to Pooran Automobiles Private Limited, Jahangirpuri, New Delhi for annual servicing and after servicing. I was told to pay online Rs. 8745/- towards my service bill. After I received my car and bill, I noticed that I have Rs. 49/- more on the bill amount and i found that the car key Remote was not functioning properly. I informed the same to Service Centre and on 18.01.2022 they picked up my car and after screening they confirmed that there is a BCM and Key remote malfunctioning and for which I need to pay Rs. 12000/- + labour charges. Then my friend suggested why don't you try to replace key remote cell and upon hearing this, next day I replaced it and believe me, to my surprise Remote key was working very fine. I narrated the said situation to Pooran Service Station and they told me that will call me back after consulting their service department. I received a call and they told me that the solution is temporary and i will again face the same situation within 2-3 weeks. Now it is almost 2 months, i am facing no issues. Therefore, i request Renault India to look into this matter very seriously and take necessary action to build trust and faith of customer upon Renault India. If such a practice happens in your Service Station then the day is not far when customer will not trust your brand. Please take immediate action, Also I request all to be very careful as this might happen to anybody.

      Petrol tank issue... Maximum petrol capacity 16 Litre. Still not aware of reserve petrol. Cost cutting in every corner of car. Looks good but engine noise too much. Suspension issues after few hundred kilometers drive. Brakes are like 100 cc bike. I wasted my money on looks. Go for TATA or Maruti Suzuki cars instead of Renault.

      Was excited to buy Renault kwid as a muscular car, but after buying it noticed some flaws in the car, the 1st flaw found was the engine and ac mechanism has not clocked together like if started the ac the performance decreased by 65%, the load itself can't be taken by the car. The next flaw was the body, the exterior wise I love it, but the metal sheet used in the car was very thin. Even cycle frames are stronger. Inside the car it was very uncomfortable, be it the seat or the steering wheel. You cannot adjust the steering wheel at a comfortable position. In the 1st gear the vehicle is too noisy and the vibrations are very strong. Another thing was the suspension, if a pothole arrives it gives too much noise as well inside a strange noise can be felt. After 2000km the exhaust pipe broke from the joint and had to weld manually the cheaper option. The engine has no calibre to give a good pickup. And how could I forgot about the tightest clutch the car has. Should say a good thing about is the boot space a very good of about 25 litres. All the plastic used in the car is substandard and gets easily deteriorate at normal weather conditions. Due to the worst service and out of warranty period car has been serviced by a local mechanics. Till now no problem with the brake, passenger seating and have to say good mileage of 13 kmpl at normal street drive. If considering buying the car you can get a better option than this car.       Bought NeoTech AMT after impressed with specs in their brochure, spending 35K more than RXL AMT model. After purchase, understood that infotainment system NAV comes with this variant far below in quality & compatibility. No reverse camera or inbuilt navigation system. They are selling about 18 variants with 'catchy words', mainly to benefit customers unawareness of technical features. Dealer experience was worst. Regret for choosing Renault NeoTech. Sorry, Renault!!

      I purchased this car in year 2016 , then till now I have experienced a lot of difficulties in this car. Firstly there are only few service centers of of Renault in Rajasthan and those are far away from rural areas, cities and districts. If anybody has any issue with the car no local mechanic can handle this and you have to go far away for a small service center. Spare parts of this car can only be purchased from Renault service centers. If you need a small part or a fuse you have to go a long distance and you may get it only at the service centers. No local mechanic will help because he does not have any spare parts available with him to resolve any issue. If a small part like side mirror too is broken you must go to service center else you can not get from anywhere else. It's hypocrisy of company to ruin their customers. If company has some sympathy with its customers it's should provide essential spare parts online and at local stores too so that consumers can easily get it and feel comfortable .
