I had purchased a renault kwid RXT Opt model in July 16 run about 25000 Km only. I had many bad experience on sensor failure and sudden break down. Please beware before purchase Renault car. Service is at poorest.

I bought the 1.0 RXT (O) manual shift version in January 2017. So far it's done 18000 kilometres. The car is really good to drive around town and even on highways. Ride quality is quite good for the price. It's comfortable in the city and stable on highway at high speed too. Driving on ghat sections doesn't feel nervous. Body roll is well controlled. Space offered is commendable. The 300 litre boot is quite useful. Easy to load and hold plenty of luggage. It looks good from all angles and appears to be a car from a segment above which is quite a feat. Service and maintenance has been ok. It could be better though. The throttle sensor became faulty and it was not available at the service center for a few weeks. I had to make another trip to get that fixed. Mileage in city I get between 16 to 18.5 kmpl. Highway I've seen 23.5 kmpl. Overall its a good package considering the on road price of around 5.10 to 5.20 for the top varients. Current models have updated safety and other features at the same price. The build quality could have been better but maybe that's just nitpicking for a car that essentially belongs to the Alto category but feels like a hatchback from a higher segment, like the Tiago etc. One thing that should definitely improve is the engine which is not as free revving as the K10 unit. Its a bit noisy too.

Good car in this price range with some good safety features. It looks like SUV. I want to buy this car. It is joyful ride. It's service cost and maintenance is low. I am confuse between alto k10 and Renault kwid Rxl but now I am fully satisfied with Renault qwid Rxl specifications and I 100 % go for Renault qwid rxl.
