Exterior The Accessories which have to be pasted onto the car tend to come off(the Roof rails, and wind reflectors). I wouldn't recommend the car to an individual who tends to drive fast. Since, the outer shell of the car seems very nimble. If an individual closes the door too hard, its like closing a very thin layer of metal, sounds completely weak.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Integrated Touch system seems to lag at times, when starting up the car. The Air Conditioner is excellent, it cools the car very quickly even at level one. Since I am a very tall individual, I tend to push the seat all the way back. This car would be suitable for anybody under the height of 5'8". The boot is giant for a hatchback, and an individual may remove the reat seats for acquiring more space for cargo.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine indicates that I get around 29.9kmpl according to the digital instrument cluster. I travel around 150km daily, and the car in terms of mileage is very good(But keep in mind, a car doesn't simply give mileage, an individual must drive safely and in constant speeds to get mileage without exhuasting the engine). The Gearbox seems very notchy when changing from 1st-2nd gear, which may seem annoying to some. The Cars engine is very quiet, so quiet that I tend to feel as though its off sometimes.  The kwid 1.0 has a very refined engine. The Fuel Indicator lags sometimes.

Ride Quality & Handling The Ride Quality is alright according to my driving. Also, The engine tends to give good performance when there are four individuals sitting in the car. The moment a fifth individual joins the car seems to be exhausted, which drops the mileage. Also, the car doesn't seem safe at speeds exceeding 120kmph. The steering wheel becomes very light, and one mistake can end a life. The Valve within the tyres keep breaking, I hardly drive these days and I have to keep chaning the tyre valves with new ones. The brakes have been squeaking since the start of my journey with this car, I have taken it several times to the service centre at Moti Nagar, New Delhi. They tell me it is due to dust particles which reside between the brake pad and disc. when the car isn't washed properly, the brakes make sounds. Individuals at the Service centre have told me its a default error in the car.

Areas of improvement The Automotive Laws in India must make ABS, EBD as standard in all their cars. And all cars come with dual Airbags for the front row as a minimum safety measure. It really sucks that the Kwid in Brazil, gets both ABS, EBD, and Airbags for both the passengers in the front seat.

I have clocked 16,000km its going to be a year, but the car doesn't seem to have any other issues apart from the ones I have mentioned above.

Good Fuel EconomyNotchy Gearbox(1st and 2nd gear), Bad Brakes, Seating capacity should be four, not five.

Inside, there is a lot of component sharing with a few bigger cars in Renault’s range and the result is a pretty compelling cabin featuring piano black trim with chrome inserts that look upmarket. But being a strict budget car, the equipment list is short but sweet.The side profile reveals the heavily flared wheel arches and a forward leaning stance. The windscreen sharply rakes towards the rear. There is plastic cladding at the base of the doors which are the colour of the wheel arches and basically serve the purpose of rub strips. The Kwid is powered by a 799cc three-cylinder unit that produces around 53bhp and 72Nm of torque. Power goes to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. There will be no diesel model, but a 1-litre model with higher power figures has been showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo and will arrive soon.

This 12-valve engine has been newly developed for the Kwid, keeping in mind the car’s lightweight nature. The Kwid, in fact, is the lightest car in its class and performs well both in terms of drivability and efficiency. In fact, Renault is claiming a class-leading fuel efficiency of 25.17kmpl for this vehicle.

Good look and also pick upGear shift very hard and engine noise

I purchased 1 litre Kwid last December which claims 23km/litre but I was quiet disappointed that it was giving only 14-15 km / litre. This was the feature that attracted me first. Driving is smooth. Interior with digital panel is quite attractive. I am loving the features. Now I can talk over the phone without lifting my mobile.

I am very happy to buy this car... Car handling is so good .... It's fell like xuv The muscular front look is awsm and boot space is nice.... Service and maintenance is good.... I suggest my relatives and friends to buy this car only I just love this car... Comfort and affordable price .. best car ever in 800 and 1000 cc augment

Looks and design of the car is best in its segment. Ground clearance of 180 mm is amazing. One of the cons is that picking up the car on second gear maybe sometimes in traffic is little bit difficult which was easier in alto which I have given. Pick up is also amazing. Gearbox is smooth. The infotainments system is also very nice. Quality of speaker is also good.

I bought the Renault kwid 1.0 rxt opt amt 1.5years ago. Rode 22000kms already. But the performance and service of the car has been worst. Needs regular visit to the service centre for repairing the sensors which keeps on malfunctioning. In 1.5 years needed 6-7 visit to the service centre apart from the regular service dates.. deeply regret for buying this car.

I bought the car from trident renault in JP nagar, Bangalore. The showroom staff are not much cooperative. Riding experience with upto 3 or max 4 persons is good. It's a 5 seater in category but doesn't have much power. Looks are decently good for the price tag. Service experience till date is really very dissatisfying. The pros of the car are steering nd AC. Steering wheel is very smooth and easy to handle. The AC is comparable with high end cars. The cons are braking, lower engine power and noisy engine. Braking is very bad. Controlling car suddenly is a nightmare for newly driving people. Engine power for a 5 seater must have been much higher. Engine is very noisy as it is a 3 cylinder engine. It makes more noise than a diesel car.

I have seen most of car but kwid is more cost efficient and looks like rally car best for looks and classic for all ages to drive and showoff . also good for long drive along with someone special with listening romantic music with best speakers of reno kwid, it is amazingly comfortable for sitting and luggage
