Noisy cabin as compare to its competitors. Little bit Slow engine response Some times when u run with A/c it feels under power especially in city traffic. But highway performance of the car is very good . Steering is so light even on the speed of 125km/h My kwid 1000cc gives me a City avg of 18kmpl(23-24kmpl on highways)

It was fun while choosing this particular car and i am in love with dis edition. I have driven this car in hilly areas like himachal jammu and it was fun travelling with my family in this car too much confortable.

Good car at this price. Enjoyed driving it, driving in a long route is satisfactory. Nice exteriors muscular body gives a premium look. Drawbacks in this car is safety strength of body is not upto satisfaction, engine sound a bit louder than average this is most disappointing thing for me. Overall a good car to buy at this price segment.

Its the world's best car in terms of mileage, looks, interiors, features and everything that you would look for in a premium car. Its equivalent to a mini Mercedes. I suggest anyone considering to buy a new car should only think of buying the Renault Kwid Climber. Its an international French branded car.Its a mini-pataka with loads of features and at a very low cost.It will make you very proud to own a Renault branded car. I am a very proud Renault owner and will always recommend this car to everyone. My buying experience was also superb especially with the sales team who were very co-operative and very polite unlike the rude and illiterate staff of TATA motors. Hats off to you Renault for gifting us this fabulous and best in class car. Its innovation that exceeds expectation. Another name for innovation is Renault - Passion for life.

The buying experience was good as I got the car delivered in 2 days time after making complete payment. The riding experience was wonderful for 800 CC vehicle. I have driven my car about 70k kms. It was very comfortable to drive. Consumption was great and it gives me 22kmpl. Maintenance costs is on the higher side for a small segment vehicle. Each time service costs comes up around 7 to 8k. PROS: Good ground clearance and boot space. Good driving comfort. Good mileage if driven properly. AC effect was wonderful. Touch screen and the digital speedometer is good. CONS: Pick up lag because of less cc. The maintenance cost on the higher side. Less resale value in general for Renault. No power windows on the rear.

Exterior

 There is no second thoughts about how good the exterior looks. But one needs to spend atlesy 10-20K if all optional accessories are opted for.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interior is fine for the given price. But there are some obvious missing accessories/features such as Support Handle for front Passengers (handle nornally located above the front door for front seat passenger to provide support when the car is negotiating curves), Speed sensing Door Locks, Door open Audio warning etc.

Power Windows switch  location is slightly inconvenient as you have to take your eyesight off the Door window before you access the switch. But this is one of the cost saving measures.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 This is a major disappointment as Engine is very noisy. I have been driving this car for the past one month clocking only 260 km. But I have filled in 20L of petrol till date. Econoly is nowhere near the claim of 25km/L.  I hope the Mileage improves after first service.

Engine is grossly underpowered if you want to take 4+ passengers. But one can not expect 800cc Engine to provide anymore than that. Gear box is not smooth. May be thats how it is in economy small cars.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality is good if there are no too many passengers. Fot two persons (Driver+passenger) + small kids, the car is just fun. Haven't tried it on Highways. Very confortable for city drining.

Final Words

 1) For First time car buyers/drivers its a great bargain.

2) For those who have driven slightly premium cars such as Swift, Jazz etc. you have to learn to accept the underpowered engine and missing features.

Just go for it.  RXT (opt). is the best best bargain. At this price you get Top end Audio system with Navigation, Air Bag, Fog Lamps, Power Windows etc. Add 10K for accessories. Y

Areas of improvement 

1) Engine Noise should be reduced .

 2) To integrate Rear Parking Sensor with the Infotainment system so that Video view is available.

3) Future Models should offer 1000cc Engine with a smooth Gear Box/ Auto Gear.

4) Basic safety features such as Speed sensing Door locks, Audio warning for 'Door Open', Rear wiper etc.

5) Top end to include Steering mointed Audio control, Roof Rails,

 

Great Looks, Good Ground Clearance, Space, FeaturesNoisy Engine, Not so smooth Gearbox, No premoum features at Top end.

Exterior is good and well designed & and catches the eyes of the people and they just stair and say WOW.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I like the way they have desigend simple but classic features, good in space and when u sit it gives comfort.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It gives good performance, good in milage & gear box is OK.

Ride Quality & Handling After long drive u can't feel the restlessness and it is good on indian road.

Final Words I am really satisfied with Renault  they have designed a car with good in look and just want to say "Beautiful Car".

Areas of improvement As far as improvement concern, I feel they have made a perfect car in Low cost and what can you expect more, No comments more and no furture analysis only just want to say GO KWID GO, Wroom Wroom.

I wish Reault India for bringing such a beautiful car on indian market and wish them all the best for the future.

it is stylish car, where ever i went people just looked with WOW and also also gives perfect mileagei have no comments, Renault has done a nice job

Yesterday, I was driving from Agra to Chandigarh. When reaching Noida via Yamuna Expressway, check engine warning light came up and some different sound was coming from the engine... I was having ELM327 obd adaptor, I plugged it in the obd port and connected it with my smartphone via Bluetooth. It was showing P0301 fault code. I looked in the web about the code and get to know that misfire occuring in cylinder 1 inside engine. Somehow I reached Chandigarh and get the car to service centre next day. They thought that engine need to be opened and repaired. They said that piston rings, piston, head etc. May be damaged... And the total estimate they made is 35000-40000. They said that it is not covered under warranty because the vehicle is CNG Fitted... This is very bad experience with kwid.

The car offers a very sporty look and great engine performance and fuel economy. Offers a good boot space without compromising on seating space. It comes in an attractive price range too.
