Exterior No need to say anything here, it really stands out different on Road than the rest.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Needs improvemnt, Renault can charge some extra here if want , but better plasting can defenetly help in improving the over all experience. Now new Models have started coming with more features.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox When went to Buy Duster, mileage oriented Indian Mind kitna deti hai selected the 85 PS version and after booking I started thinking that can 85 horses manage such a big car and somewhere in my mind I started blaming myself that, I did a mistake should have gone for the 110 PS version. But to my surprise in last two and half years and after 70000 Kms never felt less on power, it zooms like a Usain bolt on any type of road really great pick-up, Renault engineers really needs thumps-up for designing perfect gear ratios for a 85 PS engine.
It’s only when you want to go to 150-160 from 120 or 100, need of more power is felt on 85 PS version but believe me till 120 Km/hr this car is no ordinary, its special. Some turbo lag can be felt if you are in traffic for more than 30 mns continuously else even turbo lag is not very noticeable.
Fuel economy is really good no complaint, it all depends how you drive I have managed as low as 11 km/l to as high as 21 km/l, in general Mumbai city gives me around 14-16 Km/l and on Highways anything between 17-20Km/l.So again no complaints on this economy with kind of pick-up and power feel it gives.
Gears are slightly notchy at times, not a very smooth shifting at times, Renault needs to work here the way they have worked on the engine, otherwise its manageable gear shifting.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is superb and this is coming after 70000Kms driving this car, feels like a Sedan gives confidence and toughness of SUV, I have driven this car 985 Kms in one day in some 14hrs (Allahabad to Indore in one day), believe me after reaching Indore I had all the energy to go directly to Mumbai but kids were bored so we halted, otherwise it offers brilliant drivability, simply superb.
Some advice here, Please throw away the stock tires (Apollo or MRF, I am not saying they are bad but no match to Michelin) as soon as possible, after 60K I changed to Michelin Primacy SUV tires and believe me they add a lot to your Duster, I cursed myself why I Changed after 60K should have done on day one itself. It makes duster more drivable.
Also I use only synthetic engine oil, it makes engine even smoother, and it’s costly but any day better for engine and its life.
Final Words Just go for Duster...you will never regreat your self.
Areas of improvement Only thing which is troublesome to me (may not be to others) is breaking( Post Michelin Tires it has improved but still), I think Renault needs to have all four Disc brakes ASAP for better breaking control apart from improving on plastic, gear shifting, softer clutch…blah blah...(wish never ends).
Amazing SUV at its Prize-Nothing bad at this prizeNeeds Better Braking (At least Disc on Rear Tyre's)Exterior/Styles

I am using duster car from year 2013. i am facing lots of quality issues regarding my car. Some of the serious issues are as mention below:- 1) ac direction knobe- they have changed it almost 10 times but still the quality is very bad. Last time they changed it in 3days n when they return my car i asked their person to rotate the knob. But they were unable to rotate n broken something from inside that knobe. the condition is very frustrating for me. 2)water jet for wiper- Not working properly even after lots of complaint. 3) door lock- door lock from driver end is not working properly even after lots of complaints. 4)sterio- sterio is not working properly even after lots of complaint. 5)gear problem- from the time of purchase i have problem regarding the gear (the 1st gear struct any time from the 15 day of purchase). they jst told me they have oiled the gear n this will not repeat again everytime. Now the condition is worst. Vikas gupta 9250XXXXXX

Exterior
Best looking car in its segment. Looks perfect from any angle. Especially flared wheel arches. I have pearl white colour car and the model is 85 PS RxL Plus with two airbags & ABS. Even the wheels are not alloy wheels but the wheel rim design is also looks good. Three spoke front grill with renault LOGO looks excellent.
I have bought my car from Dharti Renault, jamnagar. If you want to feel the concept of customer delightness, visit Dharti Renault once & you will find that they treat customer as very special & important person. Very very happy with their sales & service teams. Always ready to help and support you in any way
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interiors are good, cant say excellent. But everything is practical. AC is very good. cools down the whole cabin rapidly. Some ergonomics are different like ORVM adjustment is under hand brakes, but once you set your ORVM as per driving posititon one hardly changes it. The legspace & headspace is excellent. Easily 5 people can seat inside comfortably. Very comfortable during long journeys. My home is at Baroda, so i travels from jamnagar to baroda once a month which is 400 KM/8 hrs. jouney. The driving position is also very good. you can view the full road easily. The boot space is 475 litres which is more than enough for 10 days journey luggage for five persons.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Renault 1.5 L dCI engine is a gem. It performs very well. I have 85 PS version so i get fuel economy 17-18 km/l on highway & 15-16 km/l in city with AC on full time. Clutch is little heavy but you will not feel it after regular driving. 85 PS is enough power to roam around city & for cruising at 90-110 km/hr on highway. No need to downshift gears at lower speed in cities as very little turbo lag. Going to complete 10000 kms from Nov'15 to May 2016. Never had any problem or complaints regarding engine or ger box. Happy with fuel economy and performance.
Ride Quality & Handling
Best part of driving a Duster is its ride quality & handling on any type of road. The suspension adjustment is so well that you hardly feels potholes on high speeds. The high ground clearance also helps the car on mountain roads. 16" wheels has a very good grip on road & hardly slips on wet roads. The steering is alittle heavy and gives you confidence to take turns at high speeds.
Final Words
I'm very happy that i made a very good choice of buying duster. Its truly a value for money car with no nonsense. During final decision i was confused between Duster and Hyundai Creta, but i chose duster as it is approx. 1 lakh rupees cheaper than Creta with same facilities, and waiting period of creta was about 5 months.
