The RiO - CRDi4 is powered by the world class BSIV common rail direct injection diesel engine from FIAT, which practically delivers a mileage of over 21 kmpl. The high ground clearance (200 mm) of RiO makes it an excellent off-road capable vehicle, and thus very useful for Indian semi-urban / rural roads in addition to the city drive. The RiO attracts lot of head-turning from on-lookers owing to its striking Daihatsu body design. RiO’s low turning radius helps its easy on-road maneuverability. The vehicle being compact in its overall size, is quite suitable to drive through the congested traffic roads. Simultaneously, RiO’s compact size also makes it convenient to park in narrow and dense parking areas.
