You may have seen videos of stunt junkies manoeuvring their cars into tight parking spaces but never has anyone crammed a car into a spot just 7.5 centimetres longer than the vehicle, until now. An unarguably skilled stunt driver has just reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the tightest parallel park from a certain Han Yue who had previously set a world record in November last year.
Driving a bone stock Fiat 500C, renowned stunt driver Alastair Moffatt managed to park in a spot just 7.5cm longer than the hatchback. All the electronic nannies, of course, had to be disconnected to allow the 500 to be controlled purely using the handbrake.
Alastair, a Master Instructor at Stunt Drive UK, previously held the Guinness World Record for the tightest parallel park at 8.6cm and also has records for tightest double parallel park and tightest triple parallel park.
Although the feat is pretty impressive to watch, we would not advice anybody to try this stunt out in public for obvious reasons!
