Alright. These two clips are from this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed which hosts what is probably the most awaited hill climb racing in terms of volumes and engagement especially from the manufacturers. Ford, for one, decided to terrorise the crowd with the help of their most extreme iteration of the Mustang yet – the GT350R.
Driven by Ben Collins, or ‘The Old Stig’ as he’s referred to by many, the GT350R absolutely demolishes the famous hill climb, thanks to its 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine putting out over 520bhp of power. This new powerhouse, in fact, is not only Ford’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine yet, but also the highest-revving V8 in the brand’s history – with a redline of 8,250rpm!
Meanwhile, the Red Bull RX7 needs no introduction to the fans of Goodwood Festival. Having rocked the show last year, the highly modified RX7 and pro drifter Mad Mike returned to the show ground with the latter’s mad antics.
Watch both these absolutely spectacular runs in the videos below!
