Majority of us have heard of self-driven cars and know how it works. To put it in simple words, there is no driver to drive your car. The computer drives it for you. And honestly, this is kind of believable but have you heard of something called ‘self-fuelling” cars? Well, welcome to the world of advance motoring mobile technology.
Volvo is reportedly developing a system that will alert a mobile fuelling truck via a smartphone when it’s time to fill a car’s gas tank. The truck driver will have a unique code to access that specific car’s fuel tank, so they can fill the tank even without the owner present. For example, the owner parks the car and goes to work. The mobile fuelling truck will fill the fuel with the help of that unique access code. Once this is done, the owner will receive a bill or the transaction would be handled by mobile payment.
While this sounds too good to be practical, it will take many years for this to go into production (if at all this is feasible). God bless Alexander Graham Bell.
