Video: New Range Rover Sport SVR in one tail-happy SUV

Land Rover took the incredibly powerful Range Rover Sport SVR onto a very slippery Rockingham race circuit in the UK. Naturally, then, it’d be rude not to put the 550bhp SUV through its paces and make it go sideways under full power.

The iconic brand has even released a footage, demonstrating the poise and impressive body control of the high-performance SUV on the race circuit.  

As a reminder, the new SVR is the most powerful Range Rover built till date. It uses an up rated version of Land Rover’s 5-litre supercharged V8 engine, which has been tuned to deliver 550bhp of power and 680Nm of torque. To put things into perspective that’s more than the current Porsche 911 Turbo!
