Mark Webber is a known name when it comes to Formula 1 racing. After racing for almost 12 years in Formula 1, Webber joined Porsche to race in the World Endurance Championship, but an unfortunate incident took place yesterday, when he was driving the number 20 Porsche at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.
Webber collided with Matteo Cressoni’s Ferrari on corner number 14 before crashing into the safety wall. Fortunately, Mark Webber escaped unhurt. However, it is more than a miracle that he escaped unhurt because he was doing around 300kmph on that curve. Webber qualified for the race in pole position and was racing to victory from the sixth place of the six hour race. It’s really unfortunate to see him crashing out at the last moment. CarWale team wishes him a speedy recovery and would love to see him racing soon.
