Now we have seen enthusiast and keen drivers go round Germany’s Nurburgring to post quick lap times even when the 22 kilometre-long circuit is soaking wet. What we haven’t seen though is a Formula race car lapping the Nurburgring in heavy snow.
So here’s something different. Forget squealing tyres and spinning stopwatches, this is the video of an open-wheel Formula race car on a snow covered Nuburgring, being driven by Andy Gulden – the chief instructor at the Nurburgring Driving Academy.
It is, indeed, an absolute hoot to see the instructor put the race car through its paces over such tricky conditions. Make sure you watch the complete video below.
