The battlefield is not a place for the faint-hearted. One mistake and it could cost you your life. The US military is constantly on the lookout to make the lives of its soldiers if not safer, at least easier and for that they have been resorting to some auto wizardry. The US Military is in the process of developing a hoverbike that will help its soldiers during war. This new aerial vehicle is being co-developed with Malloy Aeronautics and it plans to use a BMW R1200R engine to make this work.
The hoverbike will be a neat vehicle to operate if it comes into production. This hoverbike will serve as a tactical reconnaissance vehicle that will give an advantage to the American soldiers. The frame for this hoverbike is built from carbon fibre, Kevlar and aluminium, helping the company to limit the weight at 105kg. During flight, the hoverbike will drink half a litre of fuel every minute and can fly for a range of 140km.
